I saw part of the bit between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash dancing to music in a field. I couldn't finish it because I wanted to smash my monitor while vomiting on it. I haven't seen any of the others.

Saw it. Definitely acquired taste. If nostalgia for G4 is strong with you than I recommend to skip pony life.

it is a complete insult to MLP... they are totally out of character from what we know and love.. they have done to MLP what they did to Teen Titan....

it's very cartoony, it cranks certain personality quirks of the ponies up to 11. while it's not as awe-inspiring as G4 it has moments that will make you chuckle provided you remember to not think too much about it. some eps are better written and funnier than others.

For me, many of the funny bits come from how savage or aware of themselves the ponies are. despite the low brow humor, the bar is still higher than TTG or TCR

It's the kinda show you can watch random episodes or just play in the back round while you do other things. I'd give it 5.5/10 not good but not Horrible

It isn’t so much that it’s bad, it’s different. To most fandoms, including this one, that nearly a poisonous word. Short of the characters name and personality quirks everything else is different. If you go into it expecting FIM you will be disappointed. If you can see this as a complete new show and not a continuation of FIM you might like it if you like that type of humor. It’s wilder with a bit more slapstick.

I will also say that I believe you’re a macro fan? As such you are duty bound to check it out. Fluttershy is a giantess character that grows to giant size numerous times throughout.

Here, this is...well, it's Fluttershy making a "vlog" about "unboxing" something with Angel recording her on a touch-screen tablet with Celestia's cutie mark as the brand logo, and then the others try to find a way to get their reaction videos to "get trending" and "go viral". Forget the quaint thatch-roofed cottages of Ponyville, forget any ambiguity of the technology level of the setting or the innocence and purity of the ponies as individuals. Throw all of that away and embrace xD ZOOM ZOOM ZOOMIES! They're just like us but PONIES you guys!
