Words have been written. Some of them by me. Those are here. Probably.

    It's That Time Again...

So, as of now with chapter 17 up, I have another two chapters complete. Chapter 19 requires a bit of editing before it’s ready, but it shan’t cause any delays. Though, on that note... I have some less-than-great news.

    An Amazing Thing

Hi all you guys, gals, and enby pals, I just wanted to share this thing I was made aware of. It's amazing and I appreciate it and the person who made it deserves an award. Seriously, she's awesome and this fits so damn well with the story, it's great. It's a homestuck parody, though, so if you're opposed to that in any way, maybe watch it anyway because it’s so good.

    Doing Stuff Again!

Well hello all you guys, gals, and non-binary pals! It's time for an update!

As many of you have known, depression has been a thing in my life for a long while. It still is and probably forever will be, but now, we might have found the right cocktail of meds, therapy, and other stuff to maybe, maybe get me really going again!

    Everfree 2023

    Hello everyone!

It's finally here! Unfortunately, there weren't any extra large plushies this year, so I bought a little Starlight instead. So, if you happen to see me wandering around, come say hello! I'll be hanging around the vendor hall and especially the Book Nook booth. If I'm not there, Dash or Corejo at the booth might have more info.

    Figuring Things Out

Hallo, everyone. I thought it might be a good idea to keep you all in the know as to where the writingses of Azure the Slow are. To get it out of the way, no, I'm not stopping or going on break again. Though, I guess I technically am on a break? Just not the same kind of break. Anyway, let me explain.

Casting Call for an Adaptation of Unchanging Love · 9:41pm Sep 11th, 2020

It's been a rather interesting last couple of months over here. One of the things that's been going on is Dogman15 (most known for his continued commissioning of fan art) has been converting my story, Unchanging Love, into a screenplay. The end result is intended to be a voiced over, still frame animation. The script sits at 99 pages, which would average to a little over an hour and a half of total playtime.

He's been staying in contact with me to ensure he's as faithful to the story as possible and his efforts have finally come to the point of needing outside help, specifically voice actors/actresses and an illustration artist.

As such, he's set up a casting call over on Casting Call. All the roles are paid, most of them are at least $20 and go up to $300 (maxing at Sweet Leaf/Firefly's, combined 298 lines/4,394 words). Though I would like to stress, Dogman has started this project as a tribute to Unchanging Love, to help any aspiring talent get a little recognition and projects under their belts, and, most importantly, to have fun!

That said if you're an aspiring voice actor/actress, don't let any of the set paid amounts intimidate you. Audition anyway! Dogman will be reviewing all of the auditions and he's asked me to be the final decision authority for all the roles. Both he and I would love to hear what you have to offer.

I'm really excited to see what Dogman is able to accomplish with this and to see and hear the amazing talents you all have out there!

Just don't try too hard, over acting can be a bit cringy. Just speak natural and believe in your voice. GOOD LUCK!

Woah this sounds awesome. I'm hype for the finished thing now.

You should hear some of the auditions we've received already! Lots of great talent showing up.

Awsome! Wish I could... heh. But:
1. Time... i dont have it.
2. Sound equipment... i don't have it.
3. Talent... I dont have it.

5353862
You don't have to audition if you don't want to or can't. I was just inviting you to listen to some of the auditions that have come in already.

5353868
I didnt even know you were doing that. I thought that "should" was hyperbole. Am... Am I using that right?.... i can think of the word for it...

How? I would love to but i don't want to be a bother. I'm not that experienced in this kind of stuff.

I'm excited to see the result tho! Where will it be posted? YouTube? I'm not very popular, but I can try to spread the word as best as I can.

Everyone misreads or misinterprets things sometimes.

With the project? There are tons of great auditions. Azure Notion has a link in the blog post itself if you come visit the site, but for your convenience, I'll link it here again so you can click it from your e-mail: https://www.castingcall.club/projects/unchanging-love-mlpfim-fanfic-adaptation

Tons of great talent on display; listen to a few!

Ah. I figured it out, for some reason I can't view the auditions on mobile. I had to switch to desktop site with setting.

5365244
I'm able to play the auditions just fine on my phone, but for more serious work I listen to them on a computer.

5365407
It wouldn't let me do it on my phone the first time either, thats why I asked how? I didn't understand how it worked but I got it now

I'm not privy to how the site functions, sorry. To reduce the likelihood of errors, you should use the site on a desktop browser, not a phone browser, even in "desktop mode".
