I just can't risk another breakdown...

I'm taking the other blog down now.
For no other reason than my own mental health.

Politics is very bothersome. Tis why I'm an Anarcho-Distributist.
Your own metal well-being should always take priority.
Your own peace of mind is important and politics are very destructive to peace of mind. It's a constant tug of war between new and old information, ideologies, backstabbing, and schemes. It's kind of why politicians are more likely to be psychopaths than what you or I would consider "normal". ...And why they can make effective leaders.
I didn't read the other comments, but I'm sure I was having an effect with 4 downvotes in less than 2 minutes.
If you want real advice. Just take social media off for the next 3 months and you'll find yourself happier for it. A lot will happen and a lot will be forgotten, but it'll seem more like nothing when taken in context. Humanity isn't going anywhere. People right now are going insane for political and social reasons. Just keep in contact with friends, try to do fun things, and look out for yourself.
For my part in that debacle, I apologize. Someone insulted you while you were down and I took umbrage at that.
That's why I don't do real world political blogs.to avoid this.

Keeping your own political beliefs to yourself are probably best in this age. I'm not saying that you can't believe what you want to believe and fight for what you think is right. Just understand that there are people with different ideas and beliefs and they need to be respected just like you.
I was raised there are two things you don't talk about. Religion and politics. Always tried to stick to that and its served me well so far in life.
Miss Foals, I got a little harsh with my reply to your deleted post and I apologize for that. I am not apologizing for my stance, but it could defiantly been worded less combatively. Hopefully we can just agree to disagree. The stories that you have written that I have read are just to good to delete and I regretted it the moment I did it. they will be going back on my favorite's folder again. Things said in a moment of anger cause the most hurt and are the hardest to take back.

I have found channels on YouTube that restore old metal toys, like classic Tonka stuff. They are interesting to watch as most of these toys start out so rusty and by the end they are beautiful.

In regards to your 4th bullet point, ask anyone over here you'll get the same answer. Trump is a fool, a Fascist and a narcissist. There is little evidence to show he isn't actively demolishing your country.
I know nothing of gender politics or being a minority, or anything of the sort. But I can say for certain, you have a very dangerous man in a position of power and to dismiss that claim is foolish.

I've been following Trump for 4 years and I haven't heard anything about him being an actual "Fascist". (Real Nazi's and Fascists were authoritarian socialists who were primarily Left-wing. If their original pre-Revolution incarnations existed today, they'd be Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden supporters now and using much the same social justice rhetoric today.) Almost everything I've heard about Trump through the mainstream media was either a lie by omission, a lie by structure, or a lie outright. Nobody in the media actually acknowledges the good things he's done, not when they're so biased over 90% of the coverage is incredibly negative. It's kind of like how Brexit was treated in the media.
I do live in a major urban sprawl in the U.S. that has had some ties to the Confederacy and I see many Trump signs out front of homes and on vehicles. Nobody in my community has a great hatred for minorities and I don't see evidence of him rolling back a lot of it either.
This whole "he's dangerous to everyone" is just fear mongering at this point. Bush and Obama was more a danger to the American public with how many times they've stepped all over our constitution.

Ironically the National Socialist Party was not socialist, but a far right organisation. It included paramilitary ideals and actively fought against communist uprisings post world war one.
Similarly, in Italy, the national fascist party was very much far right. It pushed a corporatist economic system that was designed to oppose Marxist socialism and liberalism in an attempt to 'bridge the gap between classes'.
Both organisations advertised themselves as for the people and pushed very strong nationalist views. Neither held left wing views.
On the point of Obama being dangerous. Yes, yes he was. No other president ordered as many drone strikes as he did. In one case a doctors without borders hospital was hit.
And yes, Brexit was / still is, an utter toss up. That's not even debatable at this point. Both our countries media outlets has screwed us over. But I'd say predominantly the US does have it worse for bias. Mostly due to the media stoking the fire and Trump coming out with comments comparable with pouring petrol onto the hot coals.
But.... I've yet to hear any positives that Trump has brought to the USA. I mean for gods sake he refused a DNA test to prove his innocence against a sexual assault claim. I'm sorry to say mate but your country is screwed for the next four years if either candidate gets in. Best bet is that both Biden and Trump get arrested or they have a stroke. UK isnt much better, massive rise in nationalism and cutting ties to trade partners. But hey, one things for sure! China and Russia are going to be loving the next few years.

Yes, the Nazi's were real socialists. All anyone has to do is read some of Hitlers body of work and speeches and it doesn't sound out of place from many modern and past socialist regimes or governments with more centralized planning and restrictions. Socialism is corporatist in nature with state sponsored monopolies allowing many goods and services to be controlled by very few or only 1 player in order to maintain the supply and demand that the central authority demanded. They're also Nationalistic by using people's base tribal instincts to try to unify them under a government rule that promises Equality. (Not to be confused with Patriotism since the regime crushes criticism of the government.) USSR, Cuba, Venezuela, China, they're all Corporatist and Nationalistic regimes.
Many people fundamentally misunderstand the Left\Right authoritarian paradigm and political philosophy. It's more like a triangle. At the extreme points, there's Freedom, Stability, and Equality.
Both "Left" and "Right" are basically Marxism and Monarchy respectively. Both lead to what is essentially dictatorships, but a real Right-wing Authoritarian state is what you and most of Europe had for over a Millenia. It's a 1 party rule by a dictator and their blood-line successors who prioritize Stability of the country over Equality or Freedom. It's not too far away from real Left authoritarianism on the surface, but Left authoritarianism is based on Equality where people have to be the same at all costs. No outside opinions or ideas are tolerate. Both systems are pretty horrible to live under. The 3rd point is the Freedom side with the extreme being total Anarchy. It's every person for themselves to work hard and for protection, because society isn't exactly stable and nobody is "equal". Every day is survival of the fittest and only the best of society rises to the top.
Each of the 3 sides has their pro's and con's and appeals to different people. I won't go into much detail, but think of the base of all politics like a farm and what they mean in this context. Freedom is for Wolves. Equality are for Sheep. Stability are for Farmers.
I value Freedom much more than Stability or Equality. Many people here on FimFic and Derpibooru value Equality above anything else, which is why I've been harassed by a lot on both sites from when I dismiss Social Justice. You don't see people for Stability anymore because they (and many Freedom) have been kicked or harassed off both sites with many starting up alternatives or using 4\8chan.

You have no idea. I'm sure he does it intentionally now because anybody could see the politics are so biased that many of his opponents try to do the exact opposite of what he says. When Trump called to shutdown airports due to a rampant virus and publicly condemned China, Nancy Pelosi told her supporters to go to Chinatown for Chinese New Year (this was before they did the mask and distancing orders) and hug random chinese people on the street to show they aren't 'racist'. It's hilarious in how stupid and predictable it is at this point.
Rehsaped the Federal judiciary by appointing over 200 judges and 2 Supreme Court judges, balancing out the politics to be less politically biased in one direction. Signed a defense bill that included actual Space Marines. Major tax reforms that stoked the economy and small business. The First Step Act being the first law in reforming criminal justice in over 20 years. Defeating ISIS and killing Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. A trade deal with Canada\Mexico that allowed more collective bargaining with unions. Helped bring manufacturing jobs back for low-skilled workers. Had 19 people released from foreign captivity from places like China, North, Korea, Egypt, and Portugal. "Right to Try" allowing terminal patients to try experimental drugs. Hired the first female leader to the CIA. Pulled out of Obama's Iran Deal and pushed energy production so the US is now the world's top oil producer outside Russia & Saudi Arabia. Reduced tensions to the Korean War that both North\South Korean leadres met for the first time since the war started. Imposed sanctions on Moscow, expelled many Russian diplomats, and armed Ukraine with missles for Russia's seizure of Ukrainian navy ships.
The only reason these are never brought up is because the media hates him and what he stands for.
I do have hope. Just wait till November 4th and you'll see the media go into a mad tism spiral, but that's just hot air.
I'm fairly confident we'll be okay in the short term besides the howls and screeches of the triggered.
I'm a Libertarian, but I want to point out the the Founding Father's of the USA were the liberals of their day and Age. The American Revolution influenced the French Revolution a few years later.
