Turns out today is the 8th anniversary of when I joined this site, and since I forget about it every single year, and didn't this year, I figured I would make a little blog post commemorating it. I didn't know when I created my account 8 years ago to post my Commander Hurricane fanfic that I'd still be here 8 years later, and with quite a large following, and many, many successful stories under my belt. But here I am, and here you are, and that's something to celebrate, right?

I don't have much more to say or update on that front, so this blog post isn't going to be too long (especially compared to that last one), but this blog post was written during my first weekend after finishing all of my grad school projects and requirements. I now have a second sheet of paper to go with my first, so that's pretty cool, and now I need to find a good job (which is going to be a doozy in the middle of a pandemic, but thankfully the medical field is one that has seen its job demand increase since the pandemic started). And after I had my little vent in my last blog post, I have to say that I feel much better than I was a few weeks back. Life is good again, and though the problems in the world remain, I no longer feel pinned down by helplessness or lethargy. Life goes on, and so long as it goes on, it can get better.

But that's all I wanted to say. Thanks for being here with me for (up to) 8 years, and maybe I'll still be here in 8 years from now. I certainly hope so. I love writing and I enjoy this fandom too much to give up any time soon.

Stay cool and strong you awesome people! See you when I got my next project coming out, whenever that may be.
