(During the Pride Parade when Dagger came out)
The Fangs walked down the road, looking around at the crowd. As they walked, they noticed a pony sitting by a box with the words “Please Adopts Us!” on it. Inside were a small group of kittens. Zen took the most interest in the tiny kits.
Hive walked over. “Heh, cute right?”
“Mhm.”
Hive chuckled. “The pony said that they’re free for adoption.”
“Really?”
Hive nodded, picking up and icy white kitten with one blue eye and one yellow eye. Zen’s own eyes widened as Hive passed him the kitten.
“Heh, what do you think?”
“I... I like...” he lifted the kitten up, “him. He looks cute.”
Hive chuckled. “Heh, you think he’d be a good pet?”
Zen looked at him. “W-What?”
“Yeah. I don’t want you to feel lonely so I think this little fella could keep you company if I’m ever out.”
Zen’s eyes widened and he wrapped his hooves around Hive. “Thanks Hivey!”
“Heheh, yeah, yeah.” Hive rubbed his head. “What are you gonna name him?”
“Uh... Tundra? Glacier?”
“Mm... nah. Look at his eyes. They look like the sun and moon... remind you of anything?”
“Hm...” Zen gasped. “Eclipse! That’s his name! Eclipse!”
“Heh, okay.”
“Hey guys! Come on!” Dagger said.
“Comin’!” Hive said. The two followed him to the rest of the parade.
Yay! Zenny has a new friend! Heh, and Eclipse is canon!
