It turns out that over time, you grow as a writer. Not just in skill (someone please send me a link or ted talk for that please) but also in maturity. And with the corner I'm rounding in my life, hell, the corner that the fandom is rounding, I felt like it was time to put a neat bow on the efforts of the past and try anew. A fresh start as a writer. New long stories. Endings to the old. And maybe it won't be perfect. But that's okay.

Volume 2 is going to be somewhat on hold. I don't have an update schedule planned for it, but here's the thing. I am not going to make promises, but I intend to make this a regularly updating story in the future. I have a list of almost 300 fetish guesses that it's time to go through, and it's really nice not to feel shackled by an ARG. I get to write this slick backstory to FR shorts that's always sat in the back of my mind, and then it's back to silly guesses.

So. Then this means that, yeah, it's not going to updated any time soon.

Now, it's time for the next goal.
