It has all the content warnings. All of them. Except for 'fetish'. And that really depends on how much you like jumpsuits. 
So, I've been working on this for a while; the first draft almost complete at 118K words. I'll be revising and posting a chapter or two a week. It's the longest continuous work I've ever written, a standalone-with-series-potential, and, in the most technical of senses, my first 'published' (on a fanfic site) novel. After two complete but not ready for prime time original novels and multiple scrapped fanfic novels I'm happy to finally get one off the ground.
The core of the idea for it come from the conincidence that my default female CRPG character has been named Lyra Zed since the original Fallout, and that I thought Curie from Fallout 4 would be an interesting interpretation of Bon Bon. I am interested in eventually manuvering Lyra into her fate in the original Fallout: Equestria in a sequel to this, but with 180 years to play with in between, I feel like I can take my time with that.
Astute readers will see that even in the early chapters I have modified Fallout: Equestria canon. Like. Cars. Actual Stimpacks. Certain changes in StableTec upper managment. The entired backstory for the war. I have also added things to Fallout canon, mainly the 'pocket' computers. And of course I've never cared much about MLP:FiM canon. The reason is that I don't view canon a set of rules. More guidelines, really. Like a pirate code. If this bothers you... well, I don't care. 
I wrote the story I wanted to write.

All I know about Fallout (is actually a bunch of random, unrelated bits, but all that is relevant to this post) is that a friend of mine considers Curie the perfect companion, so that sounds like a good choice. :)
Only ever played some of the first two Fallout games, and never read Fallout Equestria, but this certainly sounds promising!

One problem with doing a fandom-within-a-fandom fic like this is it narrows my audience. Also while I'm halfway through my second read of the original, I have not read any of them fanfic fanfics outside of the first couple chapters of Project Horizons, so I'm not really aware of what Fallout: Equestria fans want.
This is my typical MO of entertaining myself first and worrying about what people will read as a secondary consideration, if at all. But launch day went okay. Let's GOOOO!
Also yes, out of four games Curie is the only companion besides Dogmeat I've really wanted to spend time with, and I always like the idea of Dogmeat more than actual Dogmeat.
