I've had a couple of comments asking/demanding that Chrissy and Richard should have asked this and that.
"Why didn't they ask Celestia whether or not she intended to send Richard back?"
Ect.
I recently responded to a comment and I think it's wide enough to cover the rest too. So here you all go.
So many questions they could have asked indeed...
Richard and Chrissy have been shown throughout this long tale to be a pair that react harshly to bad situations rather than think everything through. They don't sit and ponder on the meaning of life, they just try to grab it.
So while there are many questions they could have asked, it fits their characters more not to do so.
I truly do believe that I have written both in such a way that this should make sense. Chrissy and Richard have a temper between them, a big one. Left alone they're pretty docile, but when targeted/angered they react aggressively and don't always think things through.
For example - Chrissy losing her shit when Celestia kissed Richard on the cheek. She could have just ignored it, held her temper and then have a rant in the privacy of his home. But she didn't, she decked the most powerful Pony in Equestria without thinking about the consequences.
I'll leave it there for now, but can and will respond to questions if you have any.
