First and foremost I would like to thank all the love the story has generated. The comments of kindness and enjoyment of the writing has caused this harsh time of mine to cease being that dreadful adjective. No writer can ever summon the words needed to express the full extent of their gratitude to the readers of the work. All I can say is thank you. And hope that gratitude is still somehow felt.
With that being said, however, I must confess that the story itself is incomplete. In truth it was meant to be much longer than what I uploaded. Despite starting as a project on my laptop in bed to focus on something other than headaches—the story grew into something more. The contest I had decided to enter it into allows only 15K submissions. I, being the wordy bastard that I am, failed in the objective.
Hence the need to split.
I should be finished writing the sequel for the story today and, with any luck, have it on the site tomorrow. It should be within the same range as Addiction with the word count already at 10K. It's still romance but with the crux of the story inside of it. That, and smut. Near the end. Glorious TwiSpike smut.
I promise you the smut serves a purpose beyond mere sex. Most of the writing isn't directed toward there. So one may read that story without having to fear as such. You could even skip it if you please. Now with all of this out of the way, it's time for me to sleep for, as you can tell by this blog, I talk stranger than usual on the precipice of slumber.
