Fang Gang Shorts #13 · 2:54am Jun 2nd, 2020
Blue found himself walking through Manehattan, using his pony alias, and simply walking through the streets of the large city. He’d soon found himself in a random store, just looking around. He soon heard the door open and saw a group of very armed ponies trotting in. He watched as they began forcing civilians and staff out, before aiming their crossbows at Blue. “On the ground, you!”
Blue sighed. “You probably want to put those weapons down.”
“Get on the ground, now!”
Should we get them?
Hold on, lemme try and talk my way out.
Come on! They’re right there! I can rip them to shreds for you!
Just let me talk, Rage.
Okay. But if they attack, I’m going to rip them up like fish!
Blue sighed. “Okay, just let me go, and we’ll forget this ever happened.”
“You have a gift, Blue. And that gift belongs to us.”
They raised their crossbows.
“Trust me. If you want to see another day, you will lower those bows.”
“‘Fraid I can’t do that. Drop him.”
They then fired their weapons, but Blue dodged them. They moved around the store. “Find him!”
They spread around the store searching for Blue. One pony walked past a clothing closet, where he heard a low growl. “Hello?”
The others continued looking around. “Nothing. Striker, you got anything?”
Nothing.
“Striker?”
The pony trotted towards the closet Striker had entered. He looked around the corner…
...and almost threw up.
He turned back around the corner. “Striker’s down…”
The ponies looked over. They continued to look around until…
CRASH!
Before they knew it, the lights were out, leaving them in the dark. They looked around. “Come out! Now!” Another pony looked around.
“I got noth—”
“ARGH!”
They all turned to see something sinking its fangs into a pony’s neck.
“What the hay is that thing?!”
“Shoot it! Shoot it!”
They began shooting their crossbows at the creature, who seemed to just move out of the way of the projectiles. The monster jumped out of view.
The ponies lined up. “Where the hay did it go?!”
As if to answer the question, the monster landed right in front of them. They fired desperately, but their weapons were yanked away from them.
“Catch.”
A large rack came flying at the ponies, knocking them to the ground, and killing most of them, leaving only one. The lead pony looked up to see the monster. He stared in horror. “What the buck are you?!”
The creature gave him a blue-fanged smile. “We are Blue Fang.”
The pony stared in shock and horror as Blue opened his mouth, revealing his blue fangs. Blue snarled, as if ready to take a bite.
“No! Wait— AHHH!”
Blue trotted out of the store. “Was that really necessary?”
Of course. They tried to kill you.
“I… I guess you’re right.”
Of course I am. Now let’s get home.
“Alright.”
The changeling trotted back to the hive, leaving behind his Massacre.
A very interesting short. I liked seeing Blue interact with his rage, it shows his first instinct isn't actually to attack.
5273745
Yeah. He prefers trying to talk his way out before attacking.
5273746
I like that. It shows he isn't all violent.
5273748
Yeah. One of his moral values during the war was to never harm civilians.
5273751
That's cool of him
5273753
Yeah
5273754
Yep
5273755
Well, I’m glad you enjoyed
5273756
Yeah, I did. So, what short do you think you'll do next?
5273758
Hm... don’t know yet.
5273759
I'm sure whatever it is will be great!
5273760
Thanks!
5273761
No prob!
