Nightmare Night resumes soon

After writing six chapters over the past two and half months for Into the Storm: The Flight of Firefly, I'm heading back over to Nightmare Night to resume work there in a few days. But first, I need some down time after the heavy push I put on the last two Firefly chapters, which contained some very difficult action and exposition scenes. I also need to reset my focus and mindset from warfic to clopfic.

I've said before that writing intense battle and sex scenes seems to involve the same difficulties and areas of my brain for me, and yet, there's still a marked difference in mindset required for them. I can't just shift between them on a dime, much as I wish otherwise. I'll have to ease back in and remember where I was/what I was doing when I left it off. I do recall I owe people several major scenes before we hit the next big action sequence involving the arrival of Sunset Shimmer. I'd like to continue deeper into the Temptations & Transformations side story too, since those who like it seem to really like it.

We'll aim for the first new chapter of the main story around mid-June. Updates will follow as we get closer. Hope everybody's okay and weathered Coronaggedon thus far.
