So, the Blue Fang you guys are use to, that wasn’t the original story I’d planned to write. Now, the original was somewhat different. You’ll see in a second. I’ll go over characters first, and then the actual story/plot.
So, I created Blue sometime in 2017-2018, meaning I was around maybe 12 or 11 (I’m 13 now), and he was of course the original. Now another thing is that Stinger, Hive, Broken, Zenex, and Kydra didn’t exist at the time; it was just Blue, Mitchell, Dagger, and Mantis, created in that order.
Now, the ladder two (Dag and Mant) had different names and personalities, Dagger being Red Fang and Mantis Green Fang, and another character named Yellow Fang (not the cat from the Warriors saga). They were the Fang Gang. Don’t ask me why they were so simple.
Blue remained the same as he is now, Rage in all.
Dagger/RF remained the "joker" of the group, not taking certain things seriously.
Mantis/GF was more timid and was also pretty smart.
Yellow Fang was the calm one, and usually resolved things that the Fangs found themselves in.
Now, Yellow Fang as of now is Foresight (the changeling Captain in the First Changeling-Pony War), except, instead of yellow fangs, think of Hivehunter, but yellow with a full horn, no scar, and not as crazy.
Now, instead of Arthrax and Hex being antagonists, Mitchell was the main antagonist, I’ll touch more on that in a second. Also, Mitch didn’t have his wooden leg and he never knew Midnight, meaning that he wasn’t as cold hearted as he is now. Also, Mitchell pretty much took Hive’s spot as the "Queen’s Lapdog", meaning that he was disliked by most.
Also, as there was no Hive, there was no Blue vs. Hive fight like in the current story.
Now, for the actual story.
The story was supposed to begin during the Canterlot invasion, in which the Fangs were part of that circle of changelings that the Mane Six beat the crap out of. After that, Blue found himself next to Thorax and let’s him go, like in Blue Fang. However, unlike in Blue Fang, Blue starts either questioning his own morals or simply wonders what life is like outside of the hive, and decides to follow Thorax. They then find the other Fangs and continue from there, trying to find a purpose in life.
Back at the hive, Mitchell finds out that the five Fangs had left, and defies Chrysalis’ orders and goes out to hunt them down.
After a while of being chased by Mitchell, the Fangs soon find themselves captured in Canterlot.
And that’s kinda how it ended. I know it’s a cliffhanger, but the reason is because then I thought of another story, and that’s the Blue Fang we have now
I wonder if I should write the original story. What do you guys think? Should I? Or should I not?

I’m trying to get the original saga so I can reread it to get caught up with the story, mainly because I borrowed the first two books from a library

I borrowed a lot from the library too but I have most of the collection. Though I remember the events in the books I don't have pretty well so I find I can basically start from anywhere.
