Well chaps, that's The Festival of Lights completed!
Was a bit of a journey, this one, although not necessarily a long one.
Anyone who follows me and reads my stories will know I don't usually do Adventure stories. The Wilyverse and the Centaurverse are both very much Slice of Life universes, so to write one that is predominantly Adventure is very much a departure from the norm. The Problem With Pets and The Curse of the Statuettes I think reflected this departure, but with Festival of Lights I think I have my eye in with the genre now.
There will be a Mature rated sequel, where they take a trip to Mount Aris with Seafoam and Cloudburst. That will be full of BDSM and sexy times. After that, it'll be back to the Adventure! This time, Sparkler, Stonecutter, Blackbeak and Cloudy Skies have been invited by Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor to the Crystal Empire.
What adventure awaits them there?
