State of the Scribe: March 2020 · 9:37am Mar 4th, 2020
Before I get into the calendar itself, something quick I'd like to share. I posted a few days ago about a printing for Through the Aurora, well I'm happy to say that project is now fully funded after just two days! Anyone holding off to see if the project would make it can back with confidence. If you'd like to see more about that project, here's the blog post about it.
This book will include between 10k and 20k of new fiction, to wrap up the lives of the characters sine there won't be a sequel. The sponsor of the story has set up a discord server about the book. Anyone who has ideas for what new fiction should be added can send their ideas to him there: https://discord.gg/79DzmBb
Alright, thanks for being patient with me about the book. I'll not bother peeps about it again until the campaign is about to end, in case anyone is sitting on the fence. I return to our regularly scheduled programming.
It's been a long time since my calendar looked so clear, though the actual writing front won't be going easy on me for the next month. Let's dive in.
First, we have the transition of fine print to fimfiction this month. This story's looking awesome, and I'm really excited to share it with all of you. Since these calendars get posted to fimfiction, here's the quick synopsis:
A young intern is on the verge of losing the job of a lifetime, unless he can find a house in a city he can't possibly afford to live in. Right before it's too late, he discovers a place that's just too good to be true, and signs without reading the fine print.
Tracy soon discovers that Discord is his landord, and the house is actually located in Equestria. The spirit of chaos doesn't seem inclined to let him break his contract...
You can check out the first chapter on my patreon right now even if you're not supporting by clicking here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/new-story-fine-33300060 . The story's cover is now finished and it will go live here on the 19th.
Hour of Twilight and Luna is a Harsh Mistress are both chugging along, not really close to an ending on either of those. Luna is slightly closer, if only because when this act is over I imagine only one more to be written. Hour has barely started on its second act, so it's probably going to be with us for some time yet.
There are also some new projections that will probably be published late this month or early next, which I haven't given dates on this yet. A prequel novella to Synthesis is on the way, I'm pretty excited about that. There's also my entry to the Anon-filly contest I'll be getting trimmed up and a cover for whenever that thing ends.
Also there's a new monthly story coming, taking the old "Twilight is an Espeon" slot. I don't want to spoil too much about it now, but it's at the end of the month.
That about does it for this year. It's insane to think I've been doing this for more than two years now. Thanks so much to everyone who has continued supporting me, making this crazy ride possible.
Hold up... does that mean what I think it means? If so... then I'm excited
I assume you mean this month, right, the year’s only just started.

Nah, Starscribe has broken spacetime, and the rest of the year will be one extended March.
I take it that Child of Mine has more than three chapters left and the calendar just can't fit more than one event per day?
