First, HAPPY FEBRUARY 29TH!!!! Sorry, but I only have the chance to say that every four years and I'm taking it 
So I was scrolling through my Deviantart notifications the other day when I came across Shinta-Girl's super sale commissions ad. While I have somewhat followed Shinta, I had never commissioned anything from them before, so I thought I'd check it out, then I learned the money would be used to help get treatment for someone's pet, and I was sold. I really hope the pet gets the treatment.
Now, about a month ago give or take, I came across LeeandLie's Moonlight Densetsu by chance and I loved it. It was so catchy and mesmerizing. Of course, hearing that got the old Sailor Moon theme song from back in the day stuck in my head. Try as I might, it won't get out. It's really catchy.
When Shinta asked me what the commission would be, I thought I'd just ask for something funny and request Sweetie Belle and Spike be dressed as Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, respectively. It was supposed to be more of a joke than anything, but Shinta really made the art cute and lovely. I am really surprised with how it came out. Thanks, Shinta!

I watched it when I was really young, but I don't remember it. It's mostly stuck in my memory because it's the second anime if I've seen in my life after Dragon Ball Z. Although, I do recall Tuxedo Mask mostly just showing up to give advice and then leaving.
I hope Spike is more proactive playing the part lol.
While Sailor Moon wasn't my first anime (I think my first was probably Grandizer, Voltron or Ultraman), it still remains one of my most treasured. Honestly, looking back, I liked that Mamoru and Usagi didn't start out as "fated lovers". He started out as kinda a jerk, and she didn't like him because he was annoying. It was only after they got to know one another and interacted not just in their senshi forms, but as people, that they started to fall in love. I think that's what makes their romance stand the test of time.
Anyhow, Sweetie Moon and Tuxedo Drake look really cute and cool. Going to go give them some kudos on DA.

I watched Sailor Moon when I was very young, so I don't remember it. All I know is that they fought evil with magic and dealt with school life.

It's been over two decades since I've seen the show, so I don't remember it, either. And yes, Spike is rocking that tuxedo.
