Getting Back on Track · 12:50am Mar 22nd, 2021
Okay, after much time away, I'm back for the time being.
After the most recent tragedy, I decided to take some time away and do some readjusting. Something here, something there, new job, etc. I've been away from writing (except for my big project) and my blogs, so I hope to restart those. I've been keeping up with my art commissions, and I'll be sure to comment on those, too.
I'll have plenty to talk about, some good (like Breaking Bad), some not so good (like Avatar: the Last Airbender (this rewatch has not been blessing! What do people see in this?!). Hope you tune in.
If you any questions on my projects or just any questions in general, feel free to ask. I feel I owe you that after another hiatus.
See you around!
Take it as easy and as slow as you can.
Hi great to hear that your feeling a bit better try not to push yourself
Take all the time you need, bud. 😇
Remember to take it easy and stay confident in yourself and your work.
You ever need anything or wanna talk out something, I'm always around.
Welcome back!

Thanks. Part of me wants to speed things up, though.

Thanks. I'm not sure. Maybe a good push is what I need.

I appreciate. I might have something to mention to you far off into the future.

Thank ya.

Okies, friend.
If it's anything story related, I can't help ya, lol
Against my better judgement, I’m gonna nudge the hornet’s nest a bit.
What happened with your Avatar rewatch? I’m rewatching myself via family member request and just watched the episode where Katara is probably at her worst, and your reviews came back to mind. I was curious to see how much you’d progressed.
Not asking for anything extensive, I remember most of your grievances and skimmed your previous blogs. And not to be presumptuous, but conisdering your shorter more recent mentions weren’t favorable, I imagine not much has changed? 😅 At least as far as S1, if you even finished it.

Per the norm, life got in the way. New job, new responsibilities, family situations, etc. I am interested in continuing the rewatches (perhaps online group watches for those interested). I just need to learn how to do that 😅) so people can get why I don't like the series.
I don't know if this is clear, but I've seen the entire series multiple times throughout my life, and I dislike it more with each watch, but that's just me. To each their own. I just want to show people I legit have problems with this series and am not just some troll.
I must say, this comment has some incredible timing, but I had just talking with a irl friend just a few hours ago who inspired to be a bit more disciplined and get back into writing.

I had the impression it was your first full rewatch. Or at least the first in recent times. Maybe I just forgot you mentioning that in the blogs.
Multiple times and you dislike it more each time?! Damn. That’s…kinda sad. I gotta ask, why do you keep rewatching it? To see if your view on it has changed? Is it worth it if it’s just gotten worse?
Also, any interest at all in the new live action adaptation? 😅
Maybe the things you take issue with have been refined or ironed out or whatever;
at the very least shortened since it’s gonna be a much shorter season

I have rewatched the series because I enjoy Zuko and Iroh. That's it. I dislike the series as a whole, but I'll admit a good thing when I see it. The problem with a central story like ATLA is I can't just go back and watch certain episodes; a good amount build off a previous one, meaning for me to get the full context, I have to watch prior episodes. That's one of the reasons I've actually grown to prefer shows like SpongeBob and Gumball: I can just pick a random episode and watch with little to no context lost.
And no, no live action series for me. Not interested.
