Has it really been a year since FiM wrapped up? Where did all that time go?
Why have I only published those three things in that time? Where did my spark go, the one I had back in 2018 and 2019? All those electronic pages stored on the cloud, birthed by the inspiration of the mind, collecting electronic dust as time marches on.
Lots of things happened on this day.
In 732, Frankish king Charles Martel defeated an Umayyad army at the Battle of Tours.
In 1846, Triton, Neptune's largest moon, was discovered by English astronomer William Lassell.
In 1928, Chiang Kai-Shek became the Chairman of the Republic of China.
In 1970, Fiji gained it's independence from the United Kingdom.
Not what most people would celebrate, but holy cannoli, this is what I was looking for all those months ago when I first published this nonsense. I just couldn't accept the fact that this piece of basura I finished in a week was universally acclaimed for some reason. Nothing is that perfect, least of all something I wrote. Well now the world makes sense again. Yay.

Seriously, I would kill to have at least one story of mine not get a dislike as long as you did. Instead, I get about at least one in about half an hour or so after publishing.

Also, I wouldn't get too hung up on getting featured. The feature box is like 30-50% clop and Anon stories anyways. Just focus on writing stories that you like, and the rest will fall into place.
