Because of the possibility of the "Princess Cadance Saves Equestria (Wait, What?!)" story getting a sequel if it got popular enough, I ended it in a way to write one. Obviously, the story did well enough to do it, since I did.
I took advantage of the "AU" tag to have Grogar be the reason why the Legion of Doom was put together, not Discord disguised as him. I really didn't think of what to do with Grogar before I started writing this story, but I had to do something with him, preferably silly. This is why he and Luna secretly made the bet that they did.
Some time after I submitted the prequel, I was wondering if I should have had most of the mane 6 have the bet they did with Sunset Shimmer, not Tirek, as the joke at the end. I carried over that idea into this story, by having her make a bet with Princess Celestia beforehand, winning all of her bits.
Lastly, from an editing standpoint, not much changed, since no scene went through any noteworthy changes, save for one. After Twilight was attacked, the paragraphs about Celestia's thoughts and feeling was a little longer. One part of that I cut mentioned if Twilight's ever shown signs that she really wanted to be a princess, then a 4th wall break that had to also be out was: "Really. Did Twilight Sparkle ever truly want to be an Alicorn and princess before it happened?"
I'm still not over "Don't you DARE threaten my husband!"
