Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

Delay on Starlight Glimmer story & future story voting time (again)

I'll cut to the chase: I was planning to release a special Starlight story for this year's Starlight Glimmer Day (today) which I had mentioned in some past blogs. It had been partly written for weeks now, and I was going to resume and finish it in time for Glim Glam's day.

Long time coming, but here's a sneak peek at the next story + hints for the next story!

I meant to have my next story, "A Hearts and Hooves Day Mystery" out 2 if not 3 weeks ago but I was hit with a writing motivation problem (in which I had very little:rainbowlaugh:) so I had to wait until it passed. Thankfully, it has, and my next one-shot story is planned to be out on either Friday or the weekend.

Once again, vote for the next story

I'm trying to decide what my next story will be, but since I have several options and can't make up my mind (again), I'm letting you choose. Just like the last blog where I held a vote, there will be 3 options; one of which was one of the choices in the last voting.

    Here are the choices!

Final chapter of "Pinkie & Eric's Bonding Jungle Trip" is out!

As the title of this blog says, the 3rd and last chapter of "Pinkie & Eric's Bonding Jungle Trip" is now out! At just over 10,400 words, this story is by far the longest story I've written that only had 2 characters in it unless you count the bears from chapter 2 with the second-longest story (An Alicorn, a Human, and a Teacup) only having 2,262 words. If I didn't write a 4th

Sneak peek of chapter 2 of "Pinkie & Eric's Bonding Jungle Trip". And Happy New Year!

Chapter 2 of "Pinkie & Eric's Bonding Jungle Trip" is close to being fully edited and will be out sometime late tomorrow. In the meantime, partly to make up for my usual slow writing, here's a sneak peek of the beginning of chapter 2. It is not fully edited, so its finished version may look slightly different and all errors currently still in it will be fixed (hopefully). Enjoy!

Once again, vote for the next story · 4:15am January 15th

I'm trying to decide what my next story will be, but since I have several options and can't make up my mind (again), I'm letting you choose. Just like the last blog where I held a vote, there will be 3 options; one of which was one of the choices in the last voting.

Here are the choices!

Story A: Rarity got summoned by the Cutie Map solo, but no matter how long she waited, no friendship problem reared its head. Rainbow eventually helped figure out what was going on...which may or may not have been about a pony getting roasted over something they did/said.

Story A's projected title: Rarity's Missing Friendship Mission. Projected genre tags: Slice of Life, Comedy.

Story B: On Hearts and Hooves Day, Spike and Big Mac wondered why the Mane 6 had been nowhere to be seen during the last couple of Hearts and Hooves Days. Despite other mares being unable to tell due to being sworn to secrecy by the Mane 6, Spike and Big Mac set out to learn what the six mares were up to on this Hearts and Hooves Day.

Story B's projected titles: A Hearts and Hooves Day Mystery/The Missing 6. Projected genre tags: Slice of Life, Comedy, Mystery.

Story C: While lost in Canterlot, Eric Reed decided to go to the nearby Canterlot Castle/Royal Palace and ask a Royal Guard for directions.

However, the guard Eric spoke to thought he came for a very different reason. Due to a "winner" running late, the guard allowed him to come inside to "help out" Princess Luna, which Eric figured he could do, though he sensed something was amiss. His bit of confusion cleared up once he saw Luna, and it became quickly apparent that the Princess of the Night had entered heat. Yikes.

Story C's projected title: How to Handle an Alicorn in Heat. Story C's projected genre tags: Comedy, Romance, Slice of Life.

If you had voted in the last voting blog, you might remember the below synopsis and be wondering why it isn't in the voting.

(takes place 1 week after the Season 6 "Every Little Thing She Does" episode) Spike found a lamenting Starlight alone in her room. The pair went on to have a heart-to-heart talk when Starlight confided in him that she wasn't sure if the Mane 6 (save for Twilight) had truly accepted her as one of them--and she really wasn't sure if she even deserved having them or Spike as friends at all.

Projected title: One of Them. Projected genre tags: Slice of Life, Drama.

The reason it's not up for a vote is that I'm saving it for the next Starlight Glimmer Day, so you can expect to see it then, given I don't forget best unicorn's day.

And now I'm off to pout some more about how the Cowboys lost to the Packers at home so badly and went one-and-done in the playoffs. So much for a rematch against the 49ers in the NFC championship game...

Story C sounds like too much fun to pass up.

Am I even allowed to vote anymore? LMAO like every time you have an Eric ‘Buggy’ Reed story I always vote for it! :rainbowlaugh: I can’t help that I like that series so much to want more.

I say Story B, then A.:rainbowlaugh:

:pinkiesick:Cancel Story C immediately, throw it into the furnace of the nearest coal plant and let it become ashes, NEVER to see the light of day AGAIN!!!!!!:flutterrage:
