TheVClaw

I'm a shameless neckbeard who has a knack for writing a LOT of smut. I have an Official Patreon page (Patreon.com/TheVClaw), and I also take commissions to help support myself as a freelance writer.

First post in 2024 -- Technical Difficulties

Hey, guys! I know its been a while since I made a blogpost, but I've been preoccupied with writing out commissions to keep up with bills. I also recently moved to a new place (dont worry, this one was planned better than the cross-country move back in 2022), and I've been settling nicely. I've been fortunate enough to work on a new series of my own accord titled 'To Nerd A Bird,' but at the

It's my Birthday! (Also, Patreon Updates)

Hey, y'all! As of today, I'm now a whopping thirty-three years old! I know that isn't really a big deal, but it's a good enough excuse to swing by here and explain where I've been.

    Commissions Still Open

Heya guys! I finally finished a good amount of my backlog, so I'm open for commissions at the moment. My rates will be around $20 per thousand words, although it may vary depending on content or number of characters involved. I don't know how many projects I'll be open to accept, but I'll likely delete this blogpost when I have enough to handle. Until then, please feel free to contact me though

Here are my plans for 2020 and beyond · 6:35pm Oct 18th, 2019

Alright, guys! I know that a lot has happened over the past week or so, and I wanted to make sure the emotional overall from the series finale went away before I tried to get everyone's attention. Now, I know I said this before, but I wanted to reiterate that for the time being I do NOT plan to quit writing MLP fanfiction anytime soon. There are stories I need to finish, other stories I still want to write, and big projects that I wanted to tell you all about in this post. So for starters, let me list what I have planned in the future:

1.) Getting the Brushed Away series published on hardback novels - Now, I'm not saying that I'm hoping to get my series published in Barnes and Noble or anything (that would be nearly impossible through copyright alone), but I do know that various fanfic writers have been able to produce physical copies of their stories for independent sale. Vivid Syntax was able to do so, and has been gracious enough to reach out to me for advice/assistance on this matter. I'm also really hoping to find some talented proofreaders/editors to help me look over my Brushed Away stories, since I know that there's a lot that need to be polished up before I feel comfortable placing them on paper. But in an effort to help get this project off the ground, I converted my Official Ko-Fi account to be a startup page to fund a test printing of the first Brushed Away story. With the money raised through this medium, I'm hoping to get the funding necessary to know how many pages would be required for printing, which publishing source would be adequate for the processing, and the overall shipping and handling. Once I get those details nailed down, I'll move forward in printing out the other additions to the Brushed Away series, and hopefully be able to ship them out en mass for all of my fans through preordering.

2.) The Many Short Stories of Equestria will end before 2020 - Yeah, this series was originally made as a means to help get people interested in my Official Patreon page, and also expand my writing abilities my taking various fan-suggested ideas and themes. And I'm not gonna lie, this fic series has definitely been eventful in regards to expanding my horizons and tastes, as well as helping me better connect with many of my Patrons. Unfortunately, this Patreon tier has also been a massive drain in my writing schedule as of recently, and has kept me from focusing on personal projects month after month. Not to mention, it's obvious that as of recently, the series has devolved to various weird fetish kinks that aren't very popular. I'd rather not keep doing this fic series without much benefit, so I'm going to stop this Patreon tier before 2019 is up. And speaking of which...

3.) I'm going to change my Patreon tiers before 2020 as well - I started my Patreon page almost two years ago, and I'm really grateful that I've been able to amass a couple dozen Patrons during that time. But since I want to take my writing abilities more seriously, I decided to alter my Patreon tiers in the near future to help improve my writing time, while also remaining benefitial to my Patrons. So before 2020 comes around, my planned tiers for Patreon will consist of:

$1 - Showing your support (no huge benefits, but will receive updates on future projects in the works)
$3 - Early Access viewings of finished and pre-proofread content for FimFiction and FurAffinity
$10 - You'll be able to submit prompts for my monthly Patreon polls (with a possible limit of Patrons just in case)
$15 - Access to live viewings of my writing progress via GoogleDocs for upcoming stories (although I might invest in streaming options if it's a popular enough idea)
$20 - Group-collaborated suggestion to create a custom story prompt each month - Any fandom

Okay, these are my ideas right now, so feel free to comment to lemme know your thoughts. ;)

Just want to say thank you for doing the “many stories” series. It was a great place to express some kinks that others might find strange

Awesome, more stories to read!

To the author - i probably said this before but i'm so glad you're sticking around on this site!

here's something you outa know...Vivid Syntax isn't only author who has his fic publish in book form! this guy https://www.fimfiction.net/story/234937/fractured-sunlight
(he's made two versions of his story one in black n white & the other one's in color...meaning the drawings/art.) it's one of the early fics i read on this site back when not having an account:)
