Anyone interested in some writing advice for beginners?

I've got some anecdotal tips stored up and wouldn't mind sharing if someone wants to hear them.

On writing "Sweet as Honeydew" and why it will end this year.

I know many of you greatly enjoyed Sweet as Honeydew, and this is what makes it hard to say this:
but I consider writing it a mistake.

I'm DM-ing a D&D campaign over roll20 and update on Sweet as Honeydew

and I have trouble finding players atm. I need 2 more people, so if anyone wants to join us, he'd be very welcome.

The campaign is made in a homebrew setting I don't want to spoil too much about, but it'll focus on a couple factions and intrigue over combat, though there'll be some of that as well. The first session (if I can find 2 more players) would be on Friday, 17:30 GMT+1

    Anyone of you on Roll20?

My roleplaying group just disbanded and im looking for a new one. Have no experience with Roll20 yet though, and I dont know how I feel about joining a group with 6-players, which seems to be the only option

Until Christmas, Sweet as Honeydew will be on hiatus

Simply put, I want Void Trials as a printed book, for myself for christmas, this requires a bunch of work, so I'm currently not working on Sweet as Honeydew until that is completed. it should take at most 3 weeks, after that it'd be too late anyway.

quick update on Sweet as Honeydew · 4:06pm Sep 30th, 2019

Update most likely coming this Sunday.

Now, I've made a decision something I've been struggling with when I wrote the start of the chapter: In essence, unlike with To Be a Breezie, the sequel will not remain locked in a single perspective. it is simply too restrictive with Honeydew's perception of the world, not to mention the fact that there are now more characters as well as things that I may want to happen while Honeydew isnt even around. took me a while to make this decision, but here you go.

This seems like the opposite of a bad thing!

who implied it was? It was just a hard decision

Edit: I like your avatar ^^

My bad, just particularly interested in seeing other ponies' reactions to Honeydew.

Also, thanks!

I hope to see honeys reaction to seabreeze

Seems like a sensible decision to make. I can endorse it.

just sort of scary... I didnt even realize it myself, but in every single story I wrote so far, I remained in one perspective from start to end. so this switching perspectives thing, that is completely new to me XD

5130542
Well, you can always keep it to one perspective per chapter.
That seems more do-able.

5130551
that would not work. I do want to give you Honeydews perspective sometimes still. He will be the only one who is written from first perspective though

5130552
Oh okay, that makes sense.
Well, I wish you luck!

5130588
you too! whats on after Escapades of Escapism?

Currently working on my own big fan-fic, Finding Friendship.

But if you want a comedy, I've been thinking of doing something based on the Untitled Goose Game.

Thanks for the fave, BTW!
