Well, this is more like a heads-up. Those who can afford a brand new vehicle when the time comes, avoid the 2019 Jeep Compass. Mine has 2,200 miles on it and has been in for warranty work twice in the last three weeks. The first time was for a transmission issue (which they couldn't duplicate, so that couldn't be fixed). This time was for the start/stop system malfunctioning.
Another customer that was waiting on her 2019 Jeep Compass said that hers was in for the second time as well, also with less than 3,000 miles on it. Hers had a leak in the fuel line directly under her back seat.
Now don't get me wrong, they are nice vehicles. I love mine. But the fact that it hasn't had its first oil change yet and it's already been in the shop twice has me quite irritated.
With that said, when I'm done here, I am heading to the local Ford dealer to price some F-150s and Rangers.

Coincidentally I just saw posts yesterday from 2 old friends (who have never met each other or talked as far as I know) about problems with their new Jeeps that the dealerships can't seem to fix. Not a good look for Jeep.

Nah. A Raptor would be way out of my price range in both payments and fuel economy. I'd probably just end up going with an XLT.
