She's looking at you. Yes you. And she is judging you with her eyes. There is no escape.

    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

Kudzu, you slacker, why hasn't anything updated? · 11:21pm Aug 16th, 2019

Well, it's because I'm working. I keep suffering rewrites over and over. I'm dealing with a tough, meaty chapter, one that ties a lot of story threads all together, and because of that, I have to really pay attention to what I'm doing. At one point, that little box said I had over 11k words, but I nuked a huge passage because frankly, it was trash. Dealing with long form chapters is a lot more involved.

Hmm, fun.

I call those watchmaker chapters, because if all the gears of the story don't line up you kill the whole thing.

Hmm... I’m a software developer pony. I firmly believe that one of the keys to great software is that it ships when it’s ready, and not before.

Of course it’s corollary - that it’s scope must be properly defined so that it can ship - is also key (however, I have not noted our illustrious author having a major problem with that).

Bah. I’m not going anywhere. Take the time you need. Impatient ponies can alway reread your universe.

I blame booze. Or lack thereof.

Thank you for all your work you put into this :-)

I can't seem to get drunk. I've tried. Now I've just given up. :pinkiecrazy:

The Chase is looking at you right now. Through you dark, creative and evil soul.

Love ya !
