Interview with Leeroy

“Alright, now tell me my dear friend, what inspired your username?
Leroy's response: It's just my name, my name is Leeroy Gibs, it's just my name. But I had it saved on some site that I couldn't change it, and invited me to his game world, and was saved in official documents, so I just kept it.
“What drew you into Mlp?
Leeroy's response: Well, I think I actually started watching the abridged series before watching the canon show. I thought it was pretty funny, and thought why don't I see what the original take on this was, so watched the original show and spins off.
“Who is your favorite pony and why?
Leeroy's response: Rarity. Yamato Nadeshiko - Japanese idea of a proper woman. "Silk hiding steel." Rarity is charming, effeminate and cultured while still being capable, smart, competant
“Favorite episode and why?”
Leeroy's response: My favorite episode is either two part friendship is magic, and was start of the whole thing. I quite enjoyed the take on the relationships. I also like best day ever, that lesson really struck a cord with me, that you can't always get what you want but still be happy.
“What inspires you to write?”
Leeroy's response: What inspired me to write is practical. I don't need paints or pencils, just my phone and a word processor. That and I suppose, I have authors in my family and it would be nice to follow in their footsteps. Maybe make money off of it someday.
“Tell us about your favorite story, and why it inspires you to write. It doesn't have to be mlp specifically!”
Leeroy's response: Okay. My favorite story is a book. Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins.
“Give us the background of the author! Tell us all about you. Well in a short summary.”
Leeroy's response: My name is Leeroy Gimms. I'm about 19 years old, grew up in Kenya Africa. You studied theology. I write and shoot in my spare time, and I read a lot of read philosophy hegel, zizek, goldman. I enjoy drinking cognac, rose wine, dry martini – stirred. If you don't know yourself, you aren't going to win.
“With Mlp coming to an end, tell us one thing you have learned from your experiences, and how it has helped you to grow?
Leeroy's response: Let's go with the most recent. It's important to make the right friends, it's important to get along with someone, but it doesn't mean they have to be your friend. Because, basically if you are going to make friends with someone, it's because they like who you are. It isn't always the case. Humans don't like change. I'm trying to be kind and more considerate. Having people push you in negative ways, just because you get along with them, doesn't mean you have to be friends with them.
