Empty Horizons RPG, Chapter 10, and LSB · 1:13am Aug 14th, 2019
Hello, wyrdlings! Golden here, with news from beneath the waves. First up, you might be wondering why it is that I've tagged this blog for Empty Horizons instead of Sunken Horizons even though I said I was done with that. The answer comes in two parts. First: I've noticed a few people lately trickling in commenting on how they had no idea that Sunken Horizons was updating. Apparently they thought they had tracked it, but I guess not. So if you're one of those people, congratulations! You have 80,000 more words to read!
Second: there's a couple new pieces coming to the EHverse. Those of you familiar with Song of the Spheres or The League of Sweetie Belles, both written by the signatured GMBlackjack, will be pleased to hear that the crew of Swip is coming to visit the to-be-named world of Empty Horizons. It's a story in three parts, and I've gotta say, I really loved it. GM's done some great writing with regards to wyrds and how they interact with his crew, and now he's even talking about maybe writing a spinoff of his own featuring a thestral OC he created for the crossover. Good stuff. I'll mention it again when it comes out, but for now, you have that to look forwards to!
EH is a world of adventure, and as much as I'd love for you all to write your own stories set within it, I know that not everybody has the time or will to write. But I do know that many of you enjoy tabletop role-playing, as do I! A recent member of my Discord server, the lovely Kuvop, has taken it upon himself to port the rules of the Fallout: Equestria RPG to work in EH! You can find the port here. Especially of note is the rules for corruption and how Gifted work. If anyone's looking to start a campaign, feel free to hop onto my Discord and we can talk about the setting some, cause I'd love to get some stories out of it and maybe expand the world some more!
Lastly, I've began the draft for Chapter 10. I'm not gonna say much since I've tagged EH here and I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't finished it, but I can say that we're finally getting back into the action some!
