"In Our Loving Memory": Fourth Editing Pass Done, Break Begins, and Other News · 8:35am Aug 13th, 2019
The fourth editing pass of In Our Loving Memory is done, and, therefore, I'll be taking a one-week break from working on the story to focus on other things. The fifth and final editing/self-pre-reading pass for it would start on Monday. After that, depending on how things go, I may send it to a pre-reader to look it over again. Again, I apologize for taking so long on this, but I want it to be of high quality in my eyes. Also, I would rather give to God the prime of my efforts, not the leftovers.
As for what I would do during this break: other than just easing up from writing in general, I'll also be working on two things.
- Creation of updated cover art for a few of my older stories. To follow in the steps of authors like Novel-Idea, I'd like to design my own covers, even if it's in terms of just applying the right effects and using the right fonts to make it look nice. Perhaps I'll do a cover art showcase over the coming week.
- Preliminary outlining on A War's sequel, which I have tentatively named The War of Our Lives. It would pause temporarily when I work on Memory once again, but once that is done, then I'll put all my efforts on The War.
I'll bring out more updates on these stories in general (and the cover art) as time goes by and things get done.
