Man, back in the early days of the Fandom, it was easy. You had the one season to keep track of, and maybe like a couple of fan-memes on top of that. These days? Nine seasons, hundreds of episodes, a couple of comic series, a legit theatrical movie, and a growing number of various shorts that are being released in a variety of hard to keep track of ways.
Which is why it can be easy sometimes to miss things like, uh ... this.

To be fair, "Fluttershy digs metal" is an easy joke, one that I've made myself. BUT, what really gets me (because I'm a nerd) is that the band she's into? It's called Skullcruncher. To which I have decided their mascot is a murderous robot alligator. Literally made from Metal.
But yeah. Weekend. Woo!
I should probably start packing for BC already.
