If you were looking at the shirts I sell...

... they're about to go away. My shirt printer is retiring, and I have no replacement.

After May 5 I'm going to take down the online order links on my little business's online store, and after this summer I'll clear out of whatever shirts I have left.

So if you'd noticed any of these before, now's effectively the last chance.

Not back to KSP yet, but I did do some space stuff.

I haven't touched KSP since my early experience with KSP2 was a combination of glitchy game and impossible-to-read UI. I've been thinking about it here and there, but I've had other things to do.

But that doesn't mean I'm not doing space stuff, and yesterday I finally edited and posted a video of such.

    My muse is nagging me.

I've done very little writing the past five months, partly due to being busy, but mostly due to recurring headaches when it's writing time.

I have a couple weeks off, and I'm going to try to make time to get back on my projects (the Octavia story and novelizing Peter is the Wolf). But my mind... well... it's trying to jump ahead, or possibly back.

    Life imitates art...

So, a privately built and operated space probe became the first US lander to soft-land on the Moon last week- Odysseus.

Tuesday will be Changeling Space Program Day. This I decree. · 7:25pm Apr 8th, 2019

... well, technically not me.

Someone actually plumped for the top tier of my Patreon, partly to get a particular cameo in CSP, but mostly to get CSP moving again.

So, Haycartes' Pluperfect Method will skip at least one day per week. Tuesdays, at least for the time being, will be set aside for work on CSP. Those of you who are Patreon supporters will see a post tomorrow with a link to Tuesday livewriting on Google Docs.

Also... I just spent two hours dinking around with Discord and Twitch trying to get a stream to work from my laptop, where my CSP game save for Kerbal Space Program resides. I was hoping to livestream my gameplay run for CSP Mission 22, but so far I haven't figured out how to make it work. I might have to buy software for it to happen, which I'm very reluctant to do just now. I might give it another shot later, but right now I'm confused and fed up by the process, so I'm moving to other things I need to do...

more CSP, WOOHOOOOoo

Good luck with the writing and the computer issues.

Is that all it takes to get your attention, is to wave a fist-full of hundred dollar... um...

You know, I can see your point. Carry on. (Yes, we know what we all are, we're just haggling about the price :)

(Waiting with great anticipation)

I use OBS for my streaming, it works pretty well and is free

Wait, all it takes is money?

It was $200. Which I personally feel is money well spent, but not everyone has that kind of disposable income.

Livestreaming from your laptop might be problematic if your laptop's CPU isn't up to par or if it doesn't have a hardware video encoder, but what you absolutely don't need is shelling out more money on the software side of things. What 5041121 said is right, OBS Studio is a free and open source solution that many people use.

5041286 If it works, it works; if not, not. We'll see.

I second or fifth or whatever, OBS Studio. Not hard to use. Works well with Twitch.
