Noire v2.0

Hello all,

So some of you have probably noticed by now that Kriegspiel has a new chapter today. I've got a job interview tomorrow in Bennington, a two and a half hour drive away, so I'm gonna be gone a good portion of tomorrow. I wanted to post the new chapter today so I didn't forget it or leave it up too late.

I also want to announce something special. After my friend Seriff Pilcrow placed a harsh but honest review of Noire where he pointed out some errors, I went back and did a revision of Noire Volume One. The whole thing's had some minor corrections made, mostly added dialogue, rewritten action scenes, and some deeper characterization. There are, however, a couple things I do want to point particular attention to:

One, Case Six, Chapter Chapter Six was largely rewritten. This was a hard chapter to write, and as Seriff pointed out, the scenes with Twilight Sparkle in particular were a flop. I've rewritten those parts completely to give better characterization to Twilight.

Two, Caballeron has been completely written out of Daring's backstory. Denying her the chance to fight one of her nemeses "on-screen" in the future was a mistake on my part. I've replaced any mentions of Caballeron to Mojo (a reference to the antagonist of Daring Do and the Masked Thief of Marapore) and have plans to introduce Caballeron in the future. No spoilers!

In any case, wish me luck with my job interviews this week (I've got three!) and I hope to see you next week when the next chapter's released!
