I was putting this off for a while, since I don't know if anyone else will care ; but I think I need to post something.

    Everfree Northwest 2022

I survived another con. But as much as I'm glad to be back home and in my own bed to recover; it still feels like it was over far too soon.

Child Abuse Is Not Part Of Pride

It sickens me that this needs to be said, but the pro-child-molestation crowd is at it again. I'm not going to write in depth about this particular incident, as others have already done a better job of that. I'll just link two blogs that I think tackle the issue very well.

    Aquaman's blog:

What is the actual point, you idiot

MrNumbers has made an excellent video that says a lot of things that I would like to say, better than I could ever hope to say them. Link below.

Holy Crap, I'm Finally Moved · 3:22am Dec 17th, 2018

As of Today, I am officially moved into my new house. I moved the last load of stuff out of the old one this morning. Okay, technically I still have a few odds and sods to do, like filing my change-of-address with the post office, and updating all my billing and mailing addresses for the bank and utilities and so on, but aside from a little bit of cleanup and picking up the mail for another week or two, I have no reason at all to go back to that old shithole I was living in.

And damn, does it feel good to have that weight lifted from my shoulders. That much less stress in my life means I can finally relax a little. There's a lot of work I need to do on the new place, but this time I'm working on MY place, for ME, not to keep someone else's disintegrating pile of sticks and backed-up-plumbing upright and barely livable a little longer. That mess is someone else's problem now.

Time to celebrate, and get back into writing ponies! (Not that anyone wants to read what I write, but still...)
