Sad to say, but I think we're seeing the beginning of the end for social media in general. It was fun while it lasted, but their own lack of a filter (which is what drew so many in originally) is now sadly what appears to be doing them in.

I came to Tumblr to follow various MLP comics, and even after they’ve concluded or gone silent, I’ve still enjoyed other fan content, opinion pieces, journals, well wishing and dumb jokes and memes. Sure I’ve found stuff like hentai on there, but I have the REST of the internet for that if I want it. I always saw Tumblr as having more alongside art, and plenty of excellent art besides porn. But it is a shame that the human form is going to become so prohibited from artistic expression (and specifying women over men is bullshit). Also the idea that someone could be kicked off for any prohibited content they might have just posted in the non-prohibited past.
