Cover Wanted

I can't believe I'm posting a blog that I can tag DaD with so soon after my last post, but believe it or not, this is writing-related.

So, I don't know how many of you knew about this, but a while ago, Crystal Moose and I brainstormed a few side stories that were supposed to focus on some of the not-so-key characters in DaD. The Moose had finished one, but it's less than 700 words, so he couldn't post it as its own story. If any of you have looked at the top box on the right margin of my page (it's a big box, but the section is there), you'd see that I've said I still had intended to write more of them and would put them all together in an anthology of some kind.

Well, I have some news. Since I'm still having writer's block issues with the main story, I decided to try continuing the side stories. I've now finished a second one that brings the two stories' word count total above 1,000. I can publish them now, but there are two problems. One, I'd like someone to look over it and do some technical editing before I publish, and my regular editor has a ton on his plate, so I have one or two other people I may ask. But two, the big one...

I need some cover art for it. I don't want to use the same cover as the main story, nor do I want to use older art. I didn't post this request in the Art for Fanfiction group because I'd prefer that somebody that I know already knows the story provide the cover. That said, are there any of you following the story that would be up for the task?

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, just because I used the word 'request' doesn't mean I'm looking for free art. Obviously a free cover would be wonderful, but my assumption was for this to be a paid commission. I'm looking for something of good quality.

If any of you are up for it, please send me a PM. I don't have a deadline or anything, but personally, the sooner I know somebody can take this on, the better.

You can try LifesHarbinger on deviantArt. He does free requests and his style is awesome! he's currently closed at the moment as he still has one more current request to finish before he re-opens. He may already booked for the next set but send him a note and see if he still has any spots available.
