Evolution Update: Change of Plans · 10:12pm Aug 28th, 2018
Hey, guys. So, I've been thinking, and I decided to alter my initial plans for Chapter 2 of Evolution, now entitled "Nothing Can Protect You From Me!" So, the new plan is really quite simple: Alex, as Lord Hex, attends the meeting of Parliament where Celestia reveals that Twilight's reforms would now be made the laws of the land, followed swiftly by Alex just going on a rampage to show both the Traditionalists AND the Equestrian Military that they cannot stop him, and that, and I quote:
"NOTHING WILL PROTECT YOU FROM ME! NOT MEN! NOT WEAPONS! NOT ARMOR!!!"
As a result, the Traditionalists, namely the ones behind Twilight's murder, hire the best mercs in the business, like Lightning Dust/The Shadowbolt, Tempest Shadow, and others. Meanwhile, a boatload of mares from all over Equestria (Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo among them) become Alex Mercer fangirls (need a name for them) something that completely baffles Alex, but he does admit that it's actually kinda nice to have fans.

Well, yes. You see, in this timeline, Tempest, knowing fullwell that her horn was beyond repair became a mercenary rather than joining the Storm King. Not sure what role the Storm King will play, if any.

Might as well take this time to give you one spoiler for my Fall of Equestria: Jurassic Everfree story, but is set in a universe where Amadeus was more concerned with what nations could be trusted to be true allies of Equestria (and in that universe, he has on many occasions threatened Neighsay)
