    Izzy Moonbow: Fifth Edition Dungeoneers

It's time for Numero Tres in this series, and boy howdy is it going to be a wacky one. With only four levels to work with, multiclassing is a risky, risky business--especially in D&D Fifth Edition. Luckily for us, David Silver and his Ponyfinder setting have a few very crafty tricks to make things... a little easier. And who is the

AO3 Alert: In Which My Muse Goes Rogue · 12:38pm Jul 8th, 2018

"Alright," Masterweaver said firmly. "I promised the fans we'd update Hc Svnt Equus Pinnis soon. Sometime this week. Now, you've had a fun time with the squids, but now it's time to get back to the ponies."

"Oh, alright." The muse turned to the cast, moving them around a bit. "This could go here, and she.... that's how she would act, right..."

Masterweaver nodded. "Good. Now keep working on that, I'll be back in a few minutes."

"I'm back, and I brought pizza! Now how are things WHAT THE ACTUAL WHAT?!"

"What?" the mused asked innocently.

"That's--that's two chapters of Running Ink!" Masterweaver pointed out. "Two chapters of that, and nothing of Hc Svnt Equus Pinnis!"

"Yeah? So what?"

"So what? So we're--you can't just--you were supposed to work with the ponies, not the squids!"

"Maybe I'm tired of being a rancher," the muse groused. "Have you ever thought of that? Maybe I just want a little vacation from horsewords!"

"I would be fine with a vacation, but I can't afford a full-on cruise liner ticket! Come on, the ponies are our core thing."

"Yeah, well... I like the squids."

"I do too, but--"

"More than the ponies."

There was a gasp from the wings. The only sound in an otherwise silent room.

"...Young lady," Masterweaver said very calmly, "You are going to go to your trailer, and think about what you just said."

"...FINE! Fine, maybe I'll write erotic fantasy while I'm there! With catgirls! And mechas! In fact, FORGET THE EROTIC FANTASY!" The muse stormed off, only pausing to grab a pizza box from Masterweaver before slamming her trailer door shut.

Masterweaver sighed, turning to the actors. "I'm so sorry about that, everyone. I guess... she never reacted well to schedules, you know."

"Um." Fluttershy rose a green-screen covered hoof. "She did, um... do some work on the thing. Before she went back to the squids."

"Thank you, Fluttershy, I'll take that into account. Why don't... why don't we all have some pizza while I think about things, alright?"

I wish to see this story product with catgirls and mechas.

Controlling a muse is tricky business at best. Blasphemous as it might sound, you are allowed to deviate from ponies.

And, again, there's always the crossover option...

You do know that squids are a fairly widely accepted reason for muse deviation right? They practically suck up to you.

Thank God I don't give a : yay: about the squids...

These are both good ideas. Let's toss 'em in a blender, turn it on and light it on fire. Whatever comes out will either be expertly bizarre or accidentally amazing.

Well HSD already has catgirls and there's no reason you couldn't have mechas too.
