Status Update: New chapter and looking for help (Important) · 6:32pm May 11th, 2018
Hello everyone 
Sorry for the long wait without news, but the last few months have been very busy for me between university and other stuff, furthermore I went through a period of relative lack of inspiration, at least regarding On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons, while I've been working in my spare time to a few different projects, some of which turned rather successful, others not so much.
Now, about the main topic of this post. First of all, the chapter of On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons is almost ready for publishing! ... well, almost, because it still needs to be edited. Which brings me to the second main topic of this post. The chapter would have been ready weeks ago, but unfortunately Requiem17 has been unable to assist me lately due to more important reasons in real life, so I've been looking for someone willing to help me by editing this chapter (along with the next ones, should he keep being unavailable in the future), so far with not much success. So, long story short, I'm asking to anyone reading this if they are interested helping me with the editing process, or if they at least the know someone that could help me.

Thank for the suggestion, but I've already checked out that group, with disappointing results so far. I've posted a request almost a week ago and I still have received no replies apart for a single 'Like'

I would be most happy to assist with your editing although I can only say that I have experience editing my own work. However, I can recommend my own editor Mine_ Menace, if you would like to try him. He seems to mostly be reserved to making sure grammar and spelling checks out and that things that are written make sense, but if you are specific about what you want him to look out for he does his best. I'm not sure what your regular level of editing expertise shown from your editor is, but my suggestion is at least something. Also, he's busy with school at the moment though he should be done relatively soon.
If you decide not to go with either of us though, then I hope the rest of your quest goes well!

At the moment Diomedes already offered to have a look at the chapter, but I'm considering having more people helping me with the story in the future, possibly with previous experience. If it's not a problem, do you think you could ask your editor if he's interested?

My story's going well, but like I said, my editor is also a bit busy, so I haven't been able to get anything new published since april.
