Hello everyone, I'm still alive, despite my lack of updates in, oh. Almost a year. I apologize with all the fans of On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons (and my other stories... nah, who am I kidding ๐ ) but between writer's block, lack of inspiration and worst of all real life, the next chapter have been dragging on at the same speed of continental drift. I've tried writing something else to try to clear my mind, with mixed results. I may manage to publish two new stories before the end of the year, but take my words with a grain of salt.
UNACCEPTABLE!
What-?
A YEAR WITHOUT PROGRESS AND ALL YOU OFFER TO YOUR READERS IS A VAGUE PROMISE? YOU PIG IN HUMAN CLOTHES!
... hey, that was rude! I mean, you're completely right about being unable to keep up a schedule, but that's no reason to be offensive, you... you...
YES?
... you dangerously scarousing alpha female that I greatly admire?
... CARRY ON *Satsuki leaves like a badass, aka her usual self*
So, yeah, I've also watched a few anime lately, both new (Goblin Slayer and Rising of the Shield Hero just to name a few) and old (Why didn't I watch Kill la Kill sooner!? It's amazing! And insane! And amazing!
By the time I reached the end I was completely caught up with the story and almost forgot about the massive amount of fan-service ..almost).
What else? Oh, yeah. The other day I went to the cinema to watch the new Godzilla movie.... and it was freaking awesome!
Sooooo... that's it. I'm sorry to not have better news for you guys, but as we say in Italy, cosรฌ รจ la vita (such is life). Till next time! Ciao!
Ah that happens. Been slow with writing myself as well as catching up with anime. Yeah, Kill la Kill is awesome. My favorite anime and the one that really got me back into anime. Been going through some. Goblin Slayer is also another favorite. Great characters and stories. Godzilla King of the Monsters was indeed awesome.
Shield Hero?.... I still have no idea why it's popular.
So it's still good to hear that you are doing well. Take your time when it comes to writing.
No worries mate just take your time bro

I personally like the protagonist since I first read the manga, before the anime came out.

He's a bit like Goblin Slayer, well aware of his weakness and thus forced to play smart to defeat his enemies.

Eh, I personally found Goblin Slayer a much better developed show with more likable characters as well as how the world works. I tried watching the first three episodes of Shield Hero...
It made me hate the MC and I found the game mechanics done poorly. (The author really doesn't know how important the Tank class is to games like this.) I mean, he buys a slave and then shocks her repeatedly on the first day. Seemed to turn quite quickly into a jerk just because some people he literally just met betrayed him. Dunno if it got better after episode three so I can't say anything further.
As for Raphtalia, ehhhh. Thought she took a liking to the MC quicker then she should have, especially with his attitude and how he treats her.
Ah, writers block, bane of all things writing. Can definitely identify with you there.
However, have you seen Neon Genesis Evangelion yet?

Not yet, but it's definitely on my "To watch" list (I like the opening). The closest thing to it I've ever watched was Darling in the Franxx (I can understand why many people were disappointed by it, but I honestly liked it).
