A reasonably entertaining episode, though not quite as entertaining as the last two. I've never really found Sunburst all that interesting. Starlight I do like, and actually I think she's possibly the season's most consistently fun character. The plot was so-so but executed well enough, but I wasn't that fond of either parent. I know we weren't supposed to be, but they didn't really grab me. So, a solid episode rather than an amazing one, which means ★★★ again.
Best thing about the episode was the single shot of Starlight's Room!

I'll agree, Sunburst really only functions as a Starlight-booster.
But he filled that role quite well in this, while getting a little actual character of his own, for all that he was mostly just mirroring Starlight the whole time. :B
Huh. Tbh, this one would have gotten 4 stars outta me. I just plain enjoyed it, despite the obvious meh's about it.

I suspect I'm partly biased against Sunburst because of "The Crystalling", which I'm not very fond of. And I prefer other characters with Starlight. But yeah, he did his job okay this time.

I'd put this about level with "Grannies Gone Wild" in terms of personal enjoyment. So good, but not great. Three stars is fine, though, so I won't complain really.
I think it's a good episode, just not as good as Parental Glideance.

Agreed. I thought "PG" did the overbearing parents plot better.
