Just in case you guys haven't seen my previous blog update (or just don't follow me on Fimfiction), I just want to reiterate what's going on with Chronicles of a Sluttified Spike.
Before anyone says anything, I really am sorry that I haven't updated the story at all since Christmas. I know it's been a long time, and I hate that I still have those bouts of inactivity sometimes. Of course, it's not like I have no reason for the absence. In case any of you were unaware, I literally underwent an unjust eviction process from my old apartment just days after I last updated my story. And due to that, I had to put everything on hold while finding a new place, and securing the funds to get everything organized. I also had to take an obscene amount of commissions, start a Patreon, and write my butt off while also working full-time so I wouldn't go bankrupt. Not to mention, my inexperience with Patreon showed when I ended up overwhelming myself with tiers I could barely keep up with, which kept me from doing any personal projects for a while.
WHEW!
Now that all of that is out of the way, I want to say that things have been going a lot better since then. My Patreon rewards have been altered to give me more free-time for personal projects, while also providing quality content for fans who follow me and help contribute financially. And with my most recent Patreon commission poll finalized, I started work on my latest story which fits within the SlutSpike universe: Spike Visits the Gryphon Team!
This fic is a one-off based on fan suggestions, and will be up on Fimfiction soon. It's basically as the title says: Spike having some fun with the Gryphon Kingdom's athletes during the Equestria Games. I know it's not an update to Chronicles, but it's certainly something that can be relevant to those readers' interests~ Also, I decided to add another special detail that might get prospective readers piqued...
If you read some of my other stories on this site, you might be pleased to know that a particular OC of mine is playing a big role in Spike Visits the Gryphon Team~ I don't wanna give any spoilers, but... Three Gryphons and a Fashion Pony might be a good reference to look into.
Also, I began work on Chapter 18 of Chronicles of a Sluttified Spike not too long ago. I have a LOT to finish, but I got a good intro written out involving the universe's story and overall message. And if you read my upcoming Gryphon fic, you might get a good hint at what Spike will be up to in Chronicles~ ;)

please forgive me for saying but ya don't need explain yourself! as to why you're taking so long to write.
We as people/fans all have lives outside of writing stories whether it be pony or any other fandom in general!
i'm really glad that slutspike fic is getting an update and it's upcoming one shot!
p.s: I might read that story you suggest that is...if I didn't read it already?;)
