So uh
what can I even say?
It's been a rough.... five years.
I could talk about the many, many changes in my family situation, my education, my career, my health, my mental health, etc but none of it would excuse just sorta... ghosting like I did
Bottom line: if anybody's still out there with an interest in Wild Sky Yonder...
I just wrote new content for it, for the first time in 5 years. And it felt good. It felt really good.
The rest of this story is coming, if you want it. Chapter 11 by the end of April. Maybe sooner? Somehow I had just plain forgotten how good this feels.
aaaand not to be too needy but, if you're out there, and you do want it, I'd love to hear from you.

3 years ago in a dimly lit bedroom, I was pulled into a world full of colorful, talking equines thanks to you. Your fic's the gateway drug that introduces me to the wonderfully tasteful world of SoarinFire. Whenever I think about this ship I think of a legend living in the past who goes by the alias of Mysecsha.
And today my feed shows some updates. I clicked it as usual. And this name that pops up makes my head go buzz and dizzy.

I know that I am interested to see where you take things. When I first stumbled on WSY, I was in a place where I connected with Spits more than I would like to admit... While no longer so much the case, I remain invested in the outcome their adventure!

Geeze, this brings back some memories. This was one of the first fanfics I read for FIM, and it's good to hear that you're back to it again.
You write it, I'll read it.
If you want to continue it I would say go for it and do not worry about trying to make it cannon...I stopped watching the show halfway through season 3 and from what i have picked up about the episodes/movies since then i am glad i did.
I still love reading the stories on this site though

Oh WOW. Welcome back! My mouth fell open when I saw the new chapter on my feed but I didn't notice your blog posts since I'm not following you.
Last five years have been pretty wild for me too so I hear ya. Wild Sky Yonder was one of my 'reread every couple of months' fics back in 2013 and ponyfic helped me get through a big hump in my life at the time.
Really good to see ya back! I'll take a look at the rest of these blog posts, hopefully you don't beat yourself up too much
