*sighs*
I want to start off with saying I never intended to publish this, I was told that I had a good idea and then decided to put it up on Fimfiction under the account of "TheMysticalMare" some of you knew this, others didn't. Well it was really well recieved but ever since I put it here it's just been sitting, and I find myself much more eager to write the next chapter of "A Derpy Princess" then this. I just don't "feel" this piece right now. And while I know it sucks and some might disapprove of my decision, I have to decide what is best for me as a writer, and until I feel "something" for the piece again it's going on hiatus. I still plan to finish it, it'll just be on the backburner for now.
Now that the "sad" news is out of the way.
Chapter 2 of "You drive me batty" is being worked on presently and I hope to bring you something by the weekend.
First I have to wonder why there was a self-promotion for this blog, seems a bit unnecessary. Anyway, I total get not "feeling" your story. I have been trying to get another chapter out on my story, and every time I sit to write this little voice starts to say, "hey lets work on this other idea instead, and just to add a little incentive I'm going to flood your mind with ideas for that story,"
If you need to take time off on a story in order to find inspiration again than do so, no need to feel bad over it.
I can understand, sometimes there just doesn't seem to be any inspiration going for a story. I had early on a story about Lyra and how she ended up in Ponyville, but it just didn't have a good direction which made me go into hiatus and then season 7 happened and took her villain from the story away by making her a heroic canon character (Somnambula). I just through my hands up and deleted it despite a lot of initial interest.
