Shit. It's been, what, almost five months with no updates!

Anyway, here's the next chapter for Spectrum of Lightning, guys! I'm dialing things down and making them more relaxed in this chapter. No action scenes...yet! I'll also be sure to answer comments made during my absence that I haven't gotten around to replying yet.

Also, do any of you have advice on how to help me write faster and more consistently? I get that writing a quality story is more important than timeliness, but I would like to have some way of accomplishing both.

My tip: write a little bit, every day. At least 500 words. Even if it's crap, you can always go back and fix it later. Just writing anything helps keep the gears moving.

There’s another method someone else uses that they talked about. You can’t post a chapter until the next one is complete. Forces you to keep writing in order to release stuff that you’ve finished.
