I was banned for 24 hours for posting the coverart of my Timberjack story in the Author's note. I should note on this. the Author's Note's does restrict me by not allow a anthro nude photo but it did allow the coverart image in so according to this site's own programing it was fine. YET I GOT BANNED. I tried to appeal and behold Knightly was AWOL. the only person I can appeal to was awol. I know the staff on this sight has had issue but this really took the cake. What's the point of having a mature section if pics aren't allowed. IF the mature filter is off you can't even see a mature story so any pic in such a story should be fine. Hell one of my stories had nude anthro pic in a NA's for years and no trouble. then suddenly gone. Oh an never mind the 54 pages of incest stories on this sight. or the foal con. but a pic of a scantily clad Applejack. " OH NO WE CAN'T HAVE THAT AT ALL!" 
This is bull. I want the story approver that banned me removed as one. and for Knightly to be more on or appoint others we can contact to appeal desicisons when banned.
Until certain STUPID policies are changed my readers if you want to see uncensored content of my work you can go to Furaffintiy.net, Sofurry.net, or Deviantart.com. I will be trying to post more often there.

Just as the other members of staff have told you, there is no programming on fimfiction to detect whether an image is NSFW or not.
That programming does not exist. It is not available.
Knighty received your appeal. He receives all appeals. If he didn't respond, he didn't think it was worth responding to.
Google AdSense sets the rules about nsfw images. Knighty doesn't care about them, but Google does.
Google doesn't care about nsfw text. That is why nsfw text is allowed, and nsfw images aren't.
This is a website about words, not images.
You were banned by a moderator, not a story approver. The entire staff (including knighty) has seen your case, and everyone is in agreement that the ban was justified.
If you don't like the rules, feel free to use a different website. But you were breaking them, and they're not likely to change any time soon.

your moderators have caused a huge problem and this has gone on for as long as I have been on this site which of October of this year shall be 5 years now that this has come up this is the last straw I am forced to put a very serious charge against the moderator who has caused this problem I mean with all said and good I have a heck of a bad time trying to get stories published and when I hear of this I feel the need to boycott this site and return to fanfiction and in response to this incident I am not happy.

The person who removed the images was Syeekoh, a story approver.
The person who handled your ban was Eldorado, a moderator.
If you tried to post a NSFW image in the authors note and it didn't let you, then you did something wrong when trying to upload the image. There is nothing on the site that actively searches for and blocks NSFW images. There never has been.

And before you say so, no, this would not work for fimfiction. Privately handled ads pay much, much worse than Google AdSense. Furaffinity is just able to afford it because they have a much larger userbase than fimfiction. RIght now, there are under 2,000 fimfic users online. Furaffinity has, at this very moment, just shy of 24,000.

look I've tried to reason with you lot but you all are to stubborn to even get the facts straight, first while I agree to a certain degree with the rules and regulations I am not however happy with the apparent targeting of a fellow author which is in my view bullying nd wrong does the rules not state that bullying is not allowed?

1) This user used the auto-approval process to post a story. The auto-approval process does not check anything related to the cover art. This user's cover art broke site rules. The art was removed, and the user was warned.
2) This user then put the NSFW art in the author's note of the story, to try and get around the rules. This was removed, and the user received a 24hr ban as a result.
That is why they got banned. That's the entirety of it. Nothing more, nothing less. No bullying, harassment, or anything else. Someone broke the rules, and got punished for it.

Fimfiction.net is a private website. It is owned, in its entirety, by Knighty. This entire site, from the comments, to the feature box, to the little logo in the top left, is his, and his alone. He pays for the domain, so he has the rights to it.
And because he owns it, he can do literally anything he wants with this site. He could delete it right this very instant, if he was so inclined. He could ban you for no reason. He could ban me for no reason. He could wipe every single story off this site, and replace it with nothing but thousands of copies of that one Harry Potter fanfic where the giant squid in the lake molests Hogwarts (the castle, not any of the people).
Because this site is his private property. The law is on his side in anything he does here, so long as he doesn't turn it into, like, a child porn website or something. He's just kind enough that he made it into a lovely site, set up some cool rules and added lovely rays of sunshine like myself to try and maintain some vague semblance of order.
Banning people on a website isn't breaking any law, anywhere, regardless of whether you think it's justified. This is knighty's site, so the law says he can run it how he wants.
That is why nobody is taking your comments seriously. Because by threatening to go to the police with this, you've shown you don't understand a word of what's going on.

I literally just tested it right now in an unpublished story, in case there was something I was unaware of. There is nothing built into the site preventing NSFW images from being posted.
If an image failed to be posted, you did something wrong. You probably got the wrong URL for something. I know that often happens with some sites, like DA.
