...Busy nights at work usually equates to a pretty decent amount of alone time to think about things. With that said, I couldn't help but succumb to a random thought and it stuck with me all night. I think the reason it stuck with me is because I've written a few fics on this subject.
With that said, here is the thought: shouldn't all EqG clopfics involving Sunset Shimmer have a beastiality warning? I mean, yeah she's human but her original form is a pony. So does that count?
This is a philosophical grey area that I’ve had many a shower thought about.
The Pony races of Equestria are all Sapient. They’re on the same intellectual level as Humans. Given this, is it still considered beastiality when both are fully sapient beings and both are giving consent to the actions about to take place?
In the case of Fimfic as a site? Eh...it’s still a grey area. I’d err on the side of caution, and label any actual Human-on-Pony as beastiality.
For example, I’d give the label to a fic of Sunset having a dream where Flash is doing her in her Pony form. I would not apply the label to a fic of Sunset in Human form doing Rarity.
In the end, it comes down to your discretion. If you feel the need to put it there, then by all means go with your gut instinct. Better safe than sorry.
4813076 Most of the times that I get random thoughts in my head at work is if I'm really busy or annoyed with management and most times they stay in my head until I share them with someone. Of course if story ideas pop up, they don't get shared so that I don't lose them.

I think that there's no real debate that any sexual contact between a pony and a human would be considered bestiality. And I think that this would probably apply even if we're talking about human and anthropomorphic ponies. But when Sunset is in human form, I don't think that is the same thing. I guess it would depend on the nature of the relationship. I certainly don't think that either Flash Sentry or Sci-Twi are attracted to her because she was a pony or as a result of any pony like attributes she might retain. That would assume that they were somehow conscious of what she was, which is highly doubtful at least in Flash's case. It's not like she chews grass or craps standing up. Most other behaviors would probably be just written off as quirks, and don't we all have some of them.
