Sundance
Class: Ranger
Tribe: Pegasus Pony
Str: 15
Dex: 17
Con: 15
Int: 12
Wis: 15
Chr: 14
Alignment: Neutral Good (With lawful leanings)
Racial enemy: Owlbears
Animal companion: Owlister, a Greater Equestrian Screaming Owl. It is believed that Owlister is a male, but Sundance was gravely mistaken. Owlister forgives him and does not mind being his familiar.
Weapon proficiency: Javelins ++
Loosely based on AD&D second edition. Get off my lawn!
I like 2nd edition best anyway.
If we assume +2 dex for pegasi, that's 35 points in stats using Pathfinder point buy -- way too high if those are natural. Are they boosted by magic items?

Mwahahahahah this is not Pathfinder.
^_^

Even if it was Pathfinder, rolling foe stats is way more fun imo. Sometimes you end up with godlike characters, other times you have to figure out how to work with nines.
I need to know more. Where is Owlister, why is he very proficient with javelins, and why is his racial enemy the Owlbear!?
Why must you hold us in suspense you cruel being
4802571
Because. I'm an asshole.
4802576 makes sense
Just commenting on the addition of Dexterity in your character stat lists. Ponies have hooves. Stubby ends on their limbs, and though in the show they are portrayed to be capable of holding things with their limbs somehow, I doubt they have much in the way of range of motion and are likely unable to do anything too impressive with them. I'm not trying to be a douche, just confused as to how hooves can have much dex in any way.
4802656
Um, maybe because dexterity is related to physical movement? Such as, I dunno, running and flying?
4802700
Hmm, I suppose. Fair enough, I'll let you off haha!
4802712
Additionally, in Kudzu-world pegasai can use their wings for physical manipulation anyway, so the limitations of their hooves are kinda like the dexterous limitations of your feet. Having limbs that are bad at it doesn't make your hands worse.
That's for more questions to add to the pile we'll have a mountain in not time
An average of 14.6 repeating... Excellent rolls, young Sundance.
Well, sorry I couldn't find this and/or remember. But I felt it would be more profound that his weapon of choice is one that he used on accident.
Ah well, you're the author.

Without revealing too much, his use of javelins leads to a very important friendship.
5054371
Fair enough, still gonna draw the coat of arms though.
5054397
Awesome.

Whenever I roll stats I end up with at least one four. It's not my favorite thing to do.
5054510
Oh, I've never had or run a campaign with rolled stats where it wasn't reroll 1s and 2s - wait, no, I remember one and it was awful.
As a DM I think it's important to make sure your players not be so far below average - I mean, a four intelligence can't talk, four in the physical stats can't really move. Yeah, if you're just rolling raw with no rerolls I can understand the preference.

We got to rearrange them at least, so I put it in wisdom. And then took the flaw that gives you another -4 to spot and listen... and a background trait that gave another -1.
I had fun with it. I'd roll my DC 0 checks to notice people talking in the same room and fail sometimes.
