Why Did You Watch Me? · 8:18pm Oct 22nd, 2012

Subtitle: the Blog aimed pointedly at everyone inclusively and not just Razed-and-Cynewulf-Double-Mobius-Reacharound fest.

Hello guys and girls! I just got out of class and headed down to the confused decor of Tuscany's here on the campus of Fancy Baptist College (trademark) and I was just kind of wondering about what prompted you to follow me? I know a lot of you heard about me from Momento Mori (and thank you for all those views and upvotes! I can't express my gratitude adequetely! ;_; ) but even if that's what drew you in, what about it drew you in?

Did you come for the dark forbidden magics? The promise of an endless bounty of fluffy TwiDash shipping? My "romance" (shipping isn't really the best term for them) fics which always seem to involve Rarity struggling to do the thing she loves best? Were you one of those blessed unfortunates who were there for Equestria Vanishing (i am so sorry) and you came for the Adventure AND the eldritch chaos majicks?

I'm just really curious. Where the Sun is Silent has a lot of the elements of my other fics all combined, and as I work on fic that bridges the disparate gap in my writing between shipping and darkDARKdarkbloodmagic, I was thinking about that.

But I prepared the grape jelly and everything :c

Because I stalk you across the internet, and am your personal super tall poltergeist. Creepy? Maybe, but it's nice to know awesome writers on the internet.

As for why I follow you: really, I just followed you because you were one of my pre-readers :applejackunsure: I've enjoyed both sides of your writing that I've read—the fluffy shipping and the dark so-man-damn-labyrinths fics—so I really don't have a preference one way or the other.

440897 You are not helping me maintain my hold on my identity here Razed. You stop that.

440899 I accept this answer. Out of curiosity, though I think you're joking, would you happen to have read other things on the interwbes that I've written? Cynewulf, Julius Scipio, TemplarWolf (when I was an emo kid)?

You probably already know this, but it was the dark stuff coupled with finding out you liked The Dark Tower (and might write a crossover *nudge nudge*). The shipping/romance was an added bonus!

Okay. I'll just wait in the car... eating my weight in 5-layer burritos and hypodermic needles.

440927 Have I ever told you that you are my favorite commenter? I love all watchers Equally, but you are the Snowball/Napolean of the otherwise equal ones... always you amuse me

440921 *adds a tally to dark* yay Dark Tower! Still have it in my Fanfic folder too, and still thinking about it and fiddling about with it.

440939
ooOOoo, goody. Whenever it comes out will be too late, even if it's today!

I was hoping that you would continue "A Vigil for the Crusader" cause I enjoyed it more than most Fallout Equestria (and that's saying something since I have over a hundred on my Kindle).

440983 If Nothing is Constant wins first prize, you win second. I have a special and deeply soft place in my heart of hearts for that fic. I love the Crusader in ways that I've not loved most of the characters I've written. I'd be other characters friends--but I think I'd be the Crusader's best friend. Like, the way I see him in my head, he's just one of my favorites. I kinda miss him.

It was the beginnings of a naval armada that brought me here. :twilightsheepish:

441015 You guys are so clever. :3 Yes, ships! Secretly, I think most of you guys came for the shipping and I am quite alright with that. Shipping is all an experiment with me, and I've had a ton of fun with it. I'm really glad y'all have too.

440927 What he said!

I just overall like your stories no reasons behind it that i can think of:twilightsmile:

EDIT:Thought of one! I really like the way you do shipping, one of the best in my opinion.

Memento Mori

It has Twilight, it has Celestia.

See how easy it is to get a watch?

Oh and maybe it has to do with the fact that i find it awesome.

WIll probably also check out Equestria Vanishing one day.

441055 If you would love me do not. ;_;

haha. Sometimes it really is that easy. Fun Fact: When I submitted Memento Mori I honestly did NOT expect it to be the one that got through. I still think "A Lady" is more interesting as far as just stylistically. It took me completely by surprise.

>>Cynewulf aside from the half finished vampire story on the templarwolf/emo kid days, yes. Though the Julius scipio days passed me by, for the most part. Give my regards to Lady Scipio, by the way. And text me, I lost your number when I got a new phone. If that isn't enough of a hint, smells like teen spirit should give the rest away.440906

441075 DEAR.
Sweet.
GOD.

You

I am taken by complete surprise. I lost yours too, talk to me on the book of faces. Sweet Celestia, I'm caught off guard absolutely. Welcome aboard, then.

441024

You realize, of course, what my next question is going to be...

Will there be more feels?
Will there be more fluff?
and let's not forget...
Will there be Twilestia ? :twilightblush:

441085 Sadly, no Twilestia. Well, maybe sadly? Regardless, sorries on that front.

As to feels, yes! As to fluff, of course!

441092

Awhhhh :fluttercry:

Oh well, at least we'll have more fluffy goodness!

Why do I watch........well maybe because you wrote 'Where the Fields Are'.......if I read a story and I really enjoy it I tend to follow that writer in hopes of hey they might write new great stories OR hey they might have OTHER great stories already made. Thus I shall stalk for you have caught my interest......you best get use to it *__*

441096 Yay! Someone who got here through Where the Fields Are! I like that one more than "Testing the Waters" and as much as "A Lady Does". Loved writing that one. :3

441059

Do not as in do not read Equestria Vanishing? is it that bad? :rainbowlaugh:

And you just said no Twilestia, im hovering over the unwatch button... ಠ_ಠ

441111 haha. Awww. I've actually read it before and I have found it done well a handful of times. Those personalities in different bodies... maybe. But I'm not sure I can write teacher-student relations ;_;

441116

Why not ;_; its just horse on pony love?!? :raritydespair::raritycry:

:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh: Whatever you want, if you feel your not up to it then why not, but when i say Twilestia i dont mean just romance one, any with them interacting will make me happy :rainbowwild:

441121 Oh their interaction I love. It's a wonderful relationship of student and teacher. I'm friends with several of my teachers now who I respected while under their tutelage. That interaction between mentor and mentee as the latter grows and advances is interesting to me.

Razed was running around shoving his RariDash obsession into the faces of everyone that would listen. So I checked out "A Lady Does Everything With Feeling" and here I am.

441134

I like it either way, but I like some others i guess, am a believer that there is more between them then.

The first thing Twilight did when she saw Celestia was go in for a hug. And she is a bit crazy at times but goes crazy and everything has to be perfect if Celestia is involved.

In all that i see a close relationship, like mother and daughter, or aunt and niece. She writes letter to Celestia every week (or did before the Smarty Pants incident ), i doubt she does the same with her family, considering that the marriage of Shining came out of nowhere (for all of us at that :rainbowlaugh: )

Because you write good stuff :pinkiehappy:

oh my gawd, Momento Mori and The Moon Is All Around Us. I guess I just love your dark writing, its fantastic and you don't hold back. Keep it up, and thank you :twilightsmile::twilightsmile::twilightsmile::twilightsmile::twilightsmile:

I will admit the first story of yours that I read was Memento Mori, which first caught my eye on Equestria Daily. (I don't actually spend too much time here on FiMfiction.net.) I thoroughly enjoyed the story and read The Moon Is All Around Us & Where The Fields Are as well. I'll get around to your earlier works when I get the time. I must say, I quite enjoyed the former. While the latter was also pretty good, it was a bit hard to follow at some points. But I digress.
In summary, I "watched" you because I really enjoyed Memento Mori and because you're a great story-teller with an imaginative mind, proving that you can span multiple genres.

441242 :3 Thankya.

441188 Yay Raridash! Of all the shipping I've written, that one is my favorite. It was definitely the most fun of all my fics to write.

441911 Genre hopping is really new for me, but I like it!

441696>>441709 Yay once more for Raridash! And, to some degree, you'll be seeing it Where the Sun is Silent, though it's kind of off to the side and not central to the story as much.

441310 haha. I didn't in Memento Mori, indeed... Huh. I think it's kind of even for shipping/dark in these comments. Coolio! :D

701156 I'm actually really, really lame. :3
