New Year's Write-a-lutions · 2:33pm Jan 2nd, 2018
Hello Everypony!
The new year is certainly as good a time as any to take stock of things. From a writing standpoint I have a number of things I'd like to accomplish in the first half of the year, not the least of which being a wrap-up of that new novel manuscript. Alas, I'm only five thousand words or so into it. Blame horsewriting.
As for horse words, it seems there are many things to do. Holiday writing is finally out of the way, and I admit that I took something of a long break from commission writing. I simply needed some time to bust out some words of my own. As I've mentioned before, this is the main reason I don't accept payment for a commission until I'm ready to begin the work - I'm no less fickle than a visual artist, and I need to be in the right mindset to grab words by the throat. Should a break be required, I would prefer to not be in a state of "owing" anybody, which I would feel bad about.
That said, it's time to get down to it. First up is an art-trade I've been sitting on for far too long, which, if you're interested, may result in Flutters of Fancy the third. After that there's a commission queue proper to rip into, to be mixed in with some new tales and sequels I've been neglecting to get around to.
I can seldom think of anything else to blog about on here beyond updating people on my work, so don't be a stranger - you know where my Discord is!
