So, about the new warning tags... · 10:14pm Dec 20th, 2017
Apparently, my MLI stories are just going to have to go without, because they're already pushing the genre tag limit. I guess it only applies if it's serious or integral to the story, but I dunno. Any advice would be appreciated.
I'd get rid of random, as the collection of stories doesn't perfectly fit that genre of stories as defined by FiMFiction, and maybe replace it with Thriller. As for warning tags, it's up to you whether you want to include stuff like violence or death, though leaving them out if they're not a prominent theme or spoil something essential is another option. That's just my opinion, but do what you think is best.

The Random tag is more for the world-building tangents that the characters in each story go on. That and I wrote these stories back before the Mystery tag was a thing.
Me personally, I'm just thinking of ignoring the new warning tags altogether and putting the appropriate warnings in the story description.

Yeah, that's kinda what I've been doing for my stories, and it's worked fine for me. Then again, I don't really delve into the dark stuff that often. According to the potential warnings, the worst I've ever done is having Night Glider contemplate suicide in Social Confinement. That tag I might keep, but for the rest, the description seems to suffice.
While I'm glad there's warning things, what baffles me is that they decided to not color the genre tags.
