I Intensely Dislike Festive Stories · 11:31am Dec 4th, 2017
Whenever a festival comes around, Christmas, Easter, April Fools, Halloween or otherwise, the site is hit with a multitude of stories that fit within this theme. Of course I enjoy the odd festive story or two, but man when every story jumps on this bandwagon I feel compelled to slap my face a few dozen times to get rid of the forceful cheer shoved down my gullet.
... but I do enjoy one or two.
Also: What story should I next finish? I'm almost wrapped up with Hell Yeah.
how bout a sequel / much more expanded / longer version of Cobalt Blue
I think you should continue Reprogramming.
Hah, I know what you mean. It's almost as if people are forcing themselves to make a deadline instead of writing something that they actually enjoy and it fits in nicely with the date. Not every story, but a lot of them.
As for which story - I'd say Human Blood, but that's canceled, sooooo... Owlowiscious The Immortal Owl!
take the cake

Have to agree. Cobalt Blue is a story definitely worth revisiting and expanding upon. I mean, does the crew ever tell about meeting the Ponies? What happens when the official 'First Contact' is made and announced? Does the crew fess up and reveal what happened? Does Amelia ever meet up with Twilight again? All these questions remain to be answered...
You forgot the "bonus" themed chapters... but yes holiday theme "stories' *shutter* and Xmas is the worse. I'm sick of Xmas IRL already with its forced push down everyone's throats over commercialization crap I don't need it here too.

So true! Themed episodes in television shows... bleh
4742667 No kidding... I can't think of any good tv themed episodes except for Treehouse of Horror although like the show it has dipped from its peak... though not as much...
