Sadly just yesterday I lost my tablet that had the latest chapter of Nightmare, Nightmare so Have to start all over and get a new one.

Well some time after work it got loss.
Just out of curiosity, you think recovering a backup from iCloud would also restore the file with the story you were writing? Or if you stored it in iCloud Drive? I know when I got a new smartphone they told me to backup my phone so all my data from my old phone can be transferred to my new one. Maybe the same for you tablet?

I am guessing features like Amazon Drive wasn't setup before your kindle went missing? So yeah, even if you can recover any books from Cloud, your pictures and files isn't part of that backup process. Sorry that happened to you. *Hopes it might one day show itself one day*
