I also had a weird idea about maybe writing a short bit about the events of the movie happening, or trying to happen, in Polyamory's universe. Maybe I should make that it's own one-shot. Ah heck, pls no movie spoilers in Polyamory. First off, I haven't seen it, and won't be able to for a while, and second, if I don't know what went on in the movie, I won't be able to edit/preread/proofread properly. If you make it its own one shot, you'll need someone else's help, sorry about that.

Edit: hey real quick, i havent watched MLP since like, season 3, or whenever Twi got her wings. should i do that before attempting to watch the movie? (I know all the characters and stuff, thanks to the MLP wiki, but I haven't actually watched the episodes.

And you seriously haven't seen anything since season 3? You can watch the movie without that I think, but you should really watch more of the series. In my opinion it barely even took off in quality before season 4.

Yeah, I dunno why, but the last thing I remember is Twilight getting her wings. I don't remember anything past that, just stuff I learned from reading the fanfics and wiki pages of major characters. I'll definitely try to catch up soon enough though, no worries there.

I've always seen him as older than that, else he'd go to school. Twilight doesn't seem like the type to let him not attend school. He's certainly more mature than the CMC, so I'm not sure why everyone assumes he's the same age as them. If Twilight got her cutie mark when she was very young, and she's just past college age now, Spike could be close to or at legal age (especially in a medieval society). He just doesn't grow since dragons require a horde to grow.
Also it's a fanfic, so I can say he's whatever age I want to in this universe. I did a poll on it some time back to see if he'd be of age, barely not of age, or as young as most assume, and 'barely underage' won. I'm not specifying what legal age is, so you can still imagine him whatever age you want in this story.

I understand, and it's a smutfic. I just like to give people shit about some topics sometimes, especially using charters that are only ever referred to as underage. There's no doubt Spike's mature, but considering his relative age for his species it wouldn't surprise me if he was as of yet incapable of such things.
